As a teacher, I would LOVE to get toilet paper and sanitizer! We really need it these days!

One I stole from my sister for teachers was a gift wrapping kit. With everything they would need to wrap a present along with something fun. The paper, tags, scissors, tape, tissue paper, sharpie, pen, put it in a fun bag or something like that, and then threw in some fun stuff.

My family just got diagnosed with covid!! We all have pre-existing conditions so it scares me so much!! I wish I had the nerve to ask all my family friends and KZfaq friends if they could send us cards to bring us a little joy but I’m always afraid to ask. We don’t even have a tree!! And I hope and pray we will be able to grocery shopping and present shopping before Christmas. All I got was my Grandson done during the summer and fall for the most part because my daughter and my son in law who’s in the Navy lives all the way in Hawaii and my Son, Hubby and I live in upstate NY!! The biggest thing you can do this year is be kind to others. My neighbor lost her husband a couple months ago, so I do my nest to let her know she's not alone. I'll run to the store if she needs anything or when I make a big dinner I'll take her some food. Just letting someone know they are not alone is truly a blessing and a wonderful gift to give.

Love the breaking the popcorn down idea I never thought of that. Also I know our local senior center and nursing home do a card drive every year. I let the kids decorate simple cards and then put a chapstick in each one.

I love these ideas they are great and so simple when you think of it 👍. For years I’ve baked a selection of some sweet treats and I put it in a pretty tub to give as gifts. Last year was the first year o didn’t do it and everyone was asking for them. It really is the thought that counts and sometimes something simple or homemade is better than a generic gift you buy

We lost our 14 year old daughter last year just before Christmas and we're finding this season so incredibly difficult but by watching your videos and seeing your lovely family it always makes me smile. I made some homemade sachet's for the people in my office using rice and essential oils in a little muslin bag and then put that in a larger burlap bag and hot glued some leaves and berries to it. They turned out really nice and didn't cost a fortune. Like you said, it's the thought that counts so although they were inexpensive little sachets a lot of love went into making them. 🥰 Thank you for the additional ideas!! Merry Christmas Mindy!! 💗
