Because most icing sugar are not up to 1kg again. Using the entire 1/3 cup will make it too soft. Hence the removal.

Yes, some microwave is made for metal. Make sure your microwave instruction says it can use metal

Thanks for sharing ma, but the icing sugar you used look like 500g not 1kg and the one you dropped at description box is 1kg icing sugar by your recipe and 1tsp of CMC am i right ma? Secondly during raining season i finds out that 1tsp of CMC sweats even with 500g of icing sugar So what do you think ma, cos fondant fucks one up sometimes.thanks for your response

I tried it out, my gelatin and glucose mixture wasn't enough to knead it. Mine was hard even though I kept dipping it in water as I knead, when I was rolling it. It was drying out fast. Please ma is there any remedy?

What brand of icing sugar did you use? Once you noticed it too hard, add a little water and knead till it's pliable.

@@queennduaguba618 Someone sent a review last week, she used Susan, she said it was too soft, that she had to add more icing sugar. I've not tried Susan with this recipe. It works perfectly with niella.
