Chocolate toffee bars are one of my favorite homemade candy indulgences. The salty vs sweet. The crunch of the toffee coated with rich chocolate. Yum!
*I prefer my toffee without nuts but you could easily add chopped pecans, walnuts, or almonds to both the toffee layer and the top. To add to the toffee, pour nuts into you 9" x 13" pan before pouring the toffee in.
