I hardly recommend use regular un-scented oil than sesame oil. It makes kimchi flavor more standout ❤

Try using day old rice that has been dried out in the fridge and make sure to fry over medium high heat (no less). Warm rice and low temperatures lead to sticky clumpy fried rice.
