Need help with easy makeup for an audition, headshot or other photographs, or even an evening out? I've got you covered!
1. Apply foundation as you normally would. Keep it natural- we want to see you! ‪@hourglasscosmetics‬
2. Apply a taupe, flesh, or neutral brown shadow to the lid, bringing it down under the eye. ‪@urbandecay‬
3. Apply a lighter color in the inner corner to brighten the eye.
4. Using a gray or brown liner, line the top lash line. (You could use black, but it will be harsher). ‪@makeupforever‬
5. Using a matching shadow to the liner, blend it out for a softer look.
6. Apply mascara. ‪@toofaced‬
7. Using a shade or 2 darker than your skin tone, apply a soft contour from under the cheekbones back towards the ear, at the temples, and under the jaw. ‪@patrickta‬
8. Use a blush that flatters your skin tone from the upper apples of the cheeks blending into the contour. Don’t go too far into the nose- you will look read in the face!
9. ONLY FOR HEADSHOTS- use a highlighter on cheekbones. (You’ll look sweaty for auditions, but this photographs beautifully). ‪@maccosmetics‬
10. Apply a lip liner that closely matches your natural shade, and apply a berry or flesh tone pink lipstick. ‪@lancomeusa‬

Hi I'm Kathryn!
I am a former soloist with the New York City Ballet and Miami City Ballet. When I was a young student, I was always looking for insights into the ballet world and how to improve my dancing as well as beauty and lifestyle tips. Now that I am a professional, it is my turn to share.
