Hey 👋 hey!! My timeline is a little off with these videos, what's new! Because of this, I wanted to share that in my next few videos I'm "prepping for two kidney surgeries, one on Aug 2 and one on Aug 9" just wanted to SHARE AN UPDATE that on Aug 2 they were able to do EVERYTHING! I will now not need the 2nd surgery on Aug 9 - yay!! I've been resting and healing all week and plan to continue to do so. In real-time (August 7 when I'm posting this) they've also removed the stent to my kidney. I'm still having some kidney spasms at times so rest and the heating pad for part of my healing time. It's amazing how you can keep each child feeling like they're the MOST important thing and still get enough food generated to feed everyone. YOU ARE AMAZING!!!! You definitely must have a well-stocked kitchen to be able to make any meal on the spur of the moment. That's good planning!!!!!

I’m about to give birth any day now, suffering from severe pregnancy insomnia and not feeling too great physically. Need hours and hours of rest every day. You posting two super long videos in a short timespan feels almost like a personal gift from one mama to another - it’s just what I need right now: soothing, lighthearted and familiar. When I make home made biscuits, I put the biscuit dough on a cookie sheet and use a pizza cutter to make little dumplings. Everything is pre-cut and ready to slide into the hot water when it's ready.

I can tell you that the 2 must haves for all my babies have been an Arms Reach co-sleeper and a good babywearing device. I don't know how moms manage without them. Absolute sanity savers!

I do chicken and dumplings in the IP too!! I don't make biscuits but make a dough and roll them out and cut into strips like my great gma used to do. I cook the chicken in the IP first then switch to saute for the rest. Before I got my IP years ago I made them on the stove in a stock pot. One of my favorite meals!!

We use the McDonald's app as well. Even with just 3 of us, the points add up so fast for free items, plus the daily deals. Love it! Great call Mama for some needed easy dinner. Also, regarding canned biscuits and the loud pop; I always have hubby open it for me. Don't like sudden noises LOL

Oh how I miss so many of the delicious foods you make and enjoy! My body had an autoimmune response to pregnancy and pretty much ruined my body. Ever since I’ve had hypothyroidism and adrenal insufficiency along with other health issues. I can’t eat Garlic, Watermelon, Eggs, Peppers, and I slew of other delicious healthy food 🙁 so frustrating. I love your videos! They bring me comfort when I’m stuck in bed. I get to be productive vicariously through you. I also wish I would have been able to have more than 1 child but I’m so grateful to God my sons health was spared through my ordeals.
