I follow a few KZfaq’er’s who focus on family, home, health, meal prep, and organization. I have four sons. Many people think that’s a lot of kids, but it’s normal to me. I don’t know what life is like without kids, and I don’t want to know. I definitely enjoy and appreciate the big family channels, especially the ones who are in my home state of VA.

My kids are 37 (boy) 28 (girl) 23 (girl) 20 (boy) and I have six grands. I’m 54, been married 22 years this October, in remission from bone marrow cancer and I had a heart transplant at Vanderbilt April 9th this year ! I said all of this to say, I wish I had access to you many years ago because all of this good stuff you be doing would have really helped me. Shopping, cooking and freezing meals etc. I will say I can use these ideas for my grands and still cook for my adult children and their significant others. You are amazing and so PATIENT ! I love the IKEA story. You never blame anyone for any problem that comes along also. That is such a great lesson because what good does it do :-). Your positive attitude is wonderful and I’m sure that has a lot to do with your ability to manage your home and your large family. Soup looked absolutely yummy. @@shirleypaslay2019 Still doesn’t make things equal. I am in Canada where we have a free health care system. Nowhere near does anyone pay taxes to the level of what your medical bills could be. Even people with health insurance through their employer have free medical care. Their insurance covers dental and prescriptions not doctors visits, surgeries etc.

This is so false. I work with UK residents and they struggle to be seen by doctors, takes MONTHS to get scans needed, mental health is a JOKE. They are on a year wait list. So while maybe YOU don't pay, someone is paying and the residents who need assistant are paying by NHS taking months to treat them

I agree with others that you bring joy to me. I have done work with African groups in my younger days. Now, at 83 I wish I had your food prep as I had a life about 1/3 as active as yours. But it is a joy to help others and our own families.

Sandra Westley uk it’s very to down grade the NHS in the uk, it is free to all, paid for by everyone Tax, but when I was on holiday in Spain a couple of years ago, my husband was seriously ill, in intensive care for 4 days, they didn’t like the name a our insurance because they had a nasty habit of slow paying, they wanted cash up front, so they would not let him leave hospital till I paid the £2,000 pounds, which we put on a credit card, but they would not release the doctors letter to say he was ok to fly home till the bill was paid.

It is easy to see how homes with animals and a lot of kids could easily get out of control. It is uplifting to see how you create a welcoming atmosphere and aren't thrown by the little disaster areas that can occur, like the porch, but just bring them back in line and make them welcoming again. Wonderful job brightening your yard and cooking for so many! You made the Cricut look easy to use too! Bet your mom loves the mug.

The Ikea kitchen play items are the best! I'm so glad for socialized medicine where I live. I had to have surgery and a hospital stay while living in the US and even with insurance it was a crazy high cost and the bills came in for months afterwards. Now, I just go and get the care I need without worrying about it.

I would hold off on the zucchini and spinach till right before serving. The zucchini 20 minutes before serving and the spinach immediately before serving. I think the texture (and nutrition) would definitely be more desirable. Just a suggestion.

Love the little Ikea kitchen things. Have not been there for years now I want to go back soon. I bought about 14 years ago now a grater that had a bottom green bowl I guess you would call it. I am still using it almost every other day and it still is going strong. The soup makes me want to make a pot of soup now yum. I actually bought a huge cauliflower head today and steamed it up and was thinking yay soon cream of cauliflower soup. Great video thank you :)

Happy birthday! Being in the UK the whole sitting down to process medical bills thing is so alien to me. I'm a terrible adult at the best of times. I'm glad we don't have that extra nonsense to worry about here because I would be equally as crap with that 🤣

Same here we all moan about the nhs but we are so lucky to have it. We might have long waits for routine stuff. But it moves really fast for serious stuff. My cancer diagnosis was 10 days before my surgery. Cancer survivor thanks to the nhs
