Thy Than’s cooking video’s are ear Valium . The lack of musical background ,no monologue and enhanced sounds prep recipe defines what ASMR is all about. “Good audio feels”. I was never one for audio ASMR. Mine was slow methodical movement. As a kid I was transfixed by anyone dusting furniture-making long, quiet , even strokes across a desk top. I also use to love watching full serve gas station attendants hand wash & dry the car’s front window. I’d be mesmerized. Sound only came into play in the last year or so when I watched my first Than video--a one egg pancake. It looked intriguing, so I came for the recipe, but stayed for the bitchin’ ASMR. Whenever chaos disorders my day, a little wine and Thy’s music free & no talking videos ( the ones with a lots of stirring & bowl scraping), offers stellar reprieve.

Just tried this and it is actually amazing. Has the same texture as soufflé. Is quite sweet so add less sugar if needed. The gelatine was not enough as the cake was still runny when cut. Make sure you add a lot of butter for your buiscuit crumbs as I added less and didn’t realise and it kept coming apart. Lovely recipe though, thank u
