Easy, no mess oil change. I wanted to show in real time how I change the oil on my Vanguard 37HP equipped Wright Stander ZK 61. This is a very easy service that you can complete yourself at home. I've made this process even easier by adding a fluid extractor by OEM Tools in the mix. Check out the video and let me know what you think. First thing we do when a new ZK shows up is to move the debris bag bracket as far forward as possible without interfering with the deck mechanism. I’ve also been using an OEM Tools extractor but my model is setup to use compressor air to power the extraction process. Been using it without a hiccup for over 2 years on servicing about 36 machines.

Nice video! This is my biggest pet peeve with the zk...The drain plug is extremely difficult to get too, as well as attaching the drain tube. Then it drains on top of your suspension.

yea it's a booger for sure! The new ZXT is so much easier. Maybe some of it's tech will trickle down to other models..thank you for tuning in

I enjoy your video's. I also use Amsoil products in my zero turn mowers too. (Country Clipper & Toro) Using the extractor is good idea, I was wondering if removing the oil fill cap would help vent & help speed up the process??

You actually use the oil fill tube to extract the oil, so it should already be off in this case.

Hello, quick question - I have this same engine and on my dip stick tube it has kind of a bend to it before it gets to the bottom of the engine - I tried to use my extractor similar to yours but my smallest tube is to stiff to bend around the dip stick curve - How flexible is the small tube your using and is your dip stick tube a straight shoot down to the bottom of the oil pan? My engine was new last year so I'm wondering if they made a design change on that dip stick tube - Thank you
