I just looked at the box my UV light came in. Five volts DC, 1.8 watts. No wonder nothing ever cures. Well, at least the sun will come through for me. And I do have washi tape laying around that I bought on sale.

Such a beautiful project. I followed this process up until adding and curing the resin (using the same as Samantha) but I found the resin on only the top made the clay bow into a curve. I used the #2 setting on my pasta machine, but perhaps that is not thick enough?

I love using the wasabi tape with a resin top. I was wondering if you ever put rosin on the backside as well?

how do you get your UV resin to be so smooth and not drip off the edges I’ve had some issues with that I get a finish pair of earrings and there’s a little divot in it where it didn’t lay flat

Samantha, those turned out so very pretty. I'm surprised the tape doesn't melt in the oven & ruin the piece. Great job!!

I’ve used that resin before but the last 3 bottles I’ve bought refuses to cure fully. The surface remains sticky. I’ve even left it under my UV LIGHT for an entire hour. I don’t understand it. They were brand new. Wonder if you’ve ever had a problem with any of yours because I am afraid to purchase it again.
