After making a more comprehensive video all about pelvic organ prolapse recently, I realized that I know and could easily share a simple technique for prolapse symptom relief! ✩ Related Videos: → Comprehensive review all about pelvic organ prolapse: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/opx8jNFhu9Saimg.html → Can I have sex with prolapse & best positions for improved comfort: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pMppf9x7qpnDqXk.html → Can I have anal sex with a prolapse? kzfaq.info/get/bejne/g9CYncJz2rO3g6c.html → All about the pelvic floor: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qdWhdqdi2JO-dJs.html → Pelvic floor relaxation routine: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gLqTlMqArMDXfH0.html 🤸 Find a pelvic provider near you: pelvicrehab.com/ This technique takes about 5 minutes to complete and can be performed almost anywhere around your home! It works for all types of prolapse, and is especially effective in relieving feelings of pelvic heaviness or fullness that are secondary to being on your feet for prolonged periods of time. I hope it’s helpful for you, and thank you so much for watching 🧡

When I was a little girl in the 1940s and early 50s, I would sometimes see my mother take the ironing board (with legs folded up) and slant it from the couch to the floor, then like down on it . I understand now what she was doing.

I just saw this today. I was having pouring of urine when I stand up. About 3 weeks ago it stopped. Just yesterday I wondered if, did The fact I have been doing bridges for back pain, help tilt a prolapse? I think so. I rarely have any leakage now. What a relief. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Your actual demonstration of the techniques is invaluable.

Hi I am in Sydney Australia and have a bladder prolapse. I watched 2 of your videos and will seek out a pelvic physiotherapist very soon. I also have been told that I have precancerous cells on my cervix, so trying to cope with that problem. Its due to the HPV16 & 18. I will be seeing my gynaecologist 21 November. I must say, that your videos are really interesting and you speak nice and clearly and sound very friendly with the entire video. Thank you very much for taking your time to do these videos. Much appreciated.

Hi, your video is great. I had surgery for prolapse, I don’t know what type. I think it was a cystecele and a rectocele. I lost my husband in May of last year. I have always had trouble with constipation. Of course you strain and now I can feel something coming out when I have a bowel which takes forever because it is incomplete. I am 72 and dealing with a lot. This did not happen before I had a colonoscopy in March which was fine. I have an appointment with a urogynecologist tomorrow but I enjoyed your video so much. I wanted to see what you thought. Thankyou, Mary

Great video! Thx for creating it. I am scheduled to see PT next week, but wondering is there a better position for sitting watching tv? Is a recliner or sitting straight up better? How about walking? I walk alot, 10k÷ steps, but worried that might be aggravating it too.

Thanks! I got a new PT who specializes in pelvic issues! I see them for the first time tomorrow. Surgery in 2 weeks.... I'm nervous, but your videos definitely helped and made me feel better. Thank you so much for posting this series. Side note: ppl always say 'pain in the butt' but there are no nerve endings past the anal verge... If you're a female, there are some on the other side- I think they should be saying pain in the perineum or taint - because it's so much worse! (Sorry- I have an odd sense of humor.) But seriously, thank you.

I am so relieved. Thank you sooooo much. For almost a week i was feeling uncomfortable during urination. I was literally feeling an orgasm type feeling with pain. That shooted up till my head. And had waterey eyes and goosebumps because of this pain. For few seconds did not feel like getting up from the toilet bowl. And i could not even hold my urine. I wetted my clothes while doing so. I had to visit twice to my gynaecologist. First time she said it might be urine burning sensation which is caused by dehydration. Then she guessed there might be infection in my uterus. She gave me antibiotics, painkiller and cirate syrup and some multivitamin. Waited for a day. No difference in my state. Went back again told her clearly whats happening. She then checked again and told me its a bladder prolapse. After this diagnosis i checked on KZfaq. And saw your video. Its so helpful. Thank you so much. God bless you

Hello thank you for the exercise! I've been trying out different exercises that are good for my bowel and pelvic floor. I've came across nauli kriya, aka stomach vacuuming exercise that helps with detoxification. I was wondering if that is safe for people with prolapse? Thank you.
@PelvicEmpowerment
@PelvicEmpowerment 3 жыл бұрын
No problem! I'm so glad you're seeking out good things for your bowel and pelvic floor, that's awesome. And yes, hypopressives! Hypopresssives aren't something that I used in the clinic, only because I'd never taken a course or been properly taught how to do them, train others to do them, and prescribe them; however, there is some good evidence to suggest that they can be just as effective as pelvic floor exercises when performed correctly. Based off of what I've read, I think they'd be indicated when someone's pelvic floor was truly weak with low tone, not functionally weak with high tone (or in a spasm). As for whether or not they'd be safe for you, specifically, I cannot offer individualized medical advice and can only encourage you to see a provider who could assess you and your unique pelvis to give you an informed answer to that question. I wish I could be more helpful, and I wish you the best in your healing 🧡

Huge help thank you I now know I have a stage 4 rectaocele ( Guessing that is correct spelling .) I have had 2 earlier invasive but super successful repairs 40 years ago , pre-webbing use. I now have four fused back vertebra so pillows under hips create other problems. So lying inverted on the earlier commentator’s Mum’s slanted folded up couch to floor ironing board is a great idea to use gravity another way That works for me. Thank you to that lady.

I'm in Glennie MI during the summer and winter in Beverly Hills fl. Would u help me find a good pelvic floor specialist. I think I have the pelvic floor that rarely relaxes. I had pelvic floor therapy after having my uterus removed in 2020. The therapist never mentioned anything at all about my floor being weak or unable to relax. I continued doing all the exercises for 2 years. My bladder then prolapses along with my retum. I kid yoy not, nothing was saod to my regarding how much weight I could lift safely..last summer I did a lot of physical activity and lifting of things as my husband and I are completely redoing a 1950s cottage. I'm his only help which was where the lifting came into play.

Your videos are very informative and I plan to implement them. I have stage 1 uterine prolapse. I have a question regarding sitting throughout the day. What would be the best way to sit? In a recliner with feet up or a cushion under the hips to keep it elevated? I’m a little scared anything I do might just aggravate my condition. Feeling of pressure in the lower abdomen and feeling the need to pee are my symptoms which are really impacting my life. Thanks in advance.

I have a prolapsed uterus and was so afraid I was gonna push it out with my baby! PRAISE GOD....I had 0 problems after delivery. I then continued my kegal exercises after my 6 wks postpartum and it feels the same as before....stay away from lifting heavy objects, sitting on hard surfaces, and straining in any way....these things are what irritate my prolapse after almost 10 yrs from being diagnosed with uterine prolapse. It has nothing to do with conception tho. Baby came out fine. The only difference between my pregnancy with the prolapse and previous pregnancies is that I leaked urine on myself a little in the last month of pregnancy. With the other pregnancies I didn't have that problem. But main thing is: don't lift heavy, don't sit on hard surfaces (I literally carry a folding chair with me), & no straining or pushing or pulling heavy items. When I do have flare ups because I done lifted something crazy or sit on something hard.....this is EXTREMELY painful, but once I settle down and rest and KEGALS, KEGALS, KEGALS!!! Hope this helps. Women need to know this!!!
