You are so right about the printed panels! I have the very same panels that you have so I will correct them with a sashing. That fabric print is very old from my stash, by the way. 😊 I really like it. I have got to thin out my stash so off I go. Thank you so much for your lessons. You are wonderful. 😊❤

NOW i see your video! I just finished a panel quilt for my neice. I couldnt believe how crooked the squares were. I have made a small quilt following a video of yours for quilt as you go. Wish i had thot to use this method for my panel quilt. Lots of good tips. Next time i will use this method. Thanks!

I love the serpentine stitch. My machine is set up so when i pick a stitch it automatically sets the stitch length. I love this quilt. thank you so much. My best to your family

I'm just getting back into sewing & machines have changed and many more tools are available now! I watched your demo of the Baby Lock Verve and decided to purchase it as it is a combo sewing & embroidery machine. I have it ordered & can't wait to get it! Do you have a video with half block squares & quarter block squares? I've tried to watch other video's on cutting these & being careful with bias cuts; however, I do get lost a bit with these video's. I love the quilt as you go method & I made all my grandchildren a quilt for Christmas! Thanks again for your great video's!!!

I can't believe that are you are not straightening the fabric by simply pulling it on the bias? I was taught this 56 years ago in high school Home Ec. sewing class. It really works. This will save you so much trouble trying to get square panels.

Question… at 15:18, when you’re showing how to fold over the backing fabric, you said to leave the other backing fabric (on the other block) alone for now. After you stitched the folded fabric, then you folded the other backing fabric and stitched that. Why not fold over and stitch both fabrics at the same time?

Would the panels be straighter if it's washed ???

You can pre-wash the fabric but first do a zigzag stitch on the 2 raw edges so that the fabric does not unravel during the wash and dry cycle. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing.

When u put Stripes on , Are the sides always done first, then u do the top and bottom???

Hi Victoria. I purchase this fabric many years ago from Joann Fabrics and Crafts. I don't think it is available anymore. But you can purchase other panel fabrics like this. Go to equilter.com, fabric.com, and there are so many other websites that carry panels fabrics. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
