Hi, thanks so much. You have a lovely way of showing what to do. I've only recently started trying new patterns, so I'm starting out by making little scarves for my daughter's baby doll. To make a small version of this can I do it with only 12 stitches? Or wouldn't the pattern work on something that small? I also like the long raindrop if that's what it's called. Please let me know if either of these will work for a small scarf.

You could just sew the ends together or graft it then there won’t be a seam. 😊🎃

Question: I have your book, and the pattern doesn't show the slip stitch at the beginning of the row, and doesn't show the purl stitch at the end. Is there a reason?

Yes, the stitch book simply shows knit stitch patterns. This is a complete project, which has additional instructions.
