Good video brother, You actually had the Content I was looking for I could not figure out how to hook up the argon to my Welder. I thought it hooked directly to the welder. The gas hose goes directly to the bottle. Duh.😅😅

I have an old Craftsman Beast AC/DC stick welder. I was going to try to add TIG to that until I saw your comment about Inverter Arc Welders. The Tungsten charts show both Transformer and Inverter specs. Do I really need to upgrade to an inverter welder?

I have been watching a lot of your welding videos (thank you!) and I have one thing that I would like to know. Do you have a video or just plans for your homemade welding table? That is a very nice table and I think it would be a great project for someone like me that is relearning how to weld.

The welding table has been a work in progress, I started it a while ago but I keep changing things to put on it so I haven't finished the video yet. I think I might just do a video for the main table and then a video for all the accessories. In short no I don't have a video out yet.

Excellent video. 3:23 about that bottle valve - I've seen someone claiming it should be open all the way. If not then gas can slowly leak out around the shaft of the valve.

iam an hobbyist who has an inverter welder , still havent perfected my stick welding, really suck while welding sqaure tubes, can i use the electrodes from stick welding as a filler , that way i wont have to buy gas or filler.

When TIG welding 1/8” or thinner is it difficult to strike an arc by flicking the filler rod down the tungsten to the base metal?

No, once you do it a couple times it's pretty easy.

Gteat video. I just bought an s7 inverter tig welder from jungle to weld aluminim. When I start the fire/arc it keeps melting the aluminum. I tried 70a 80a 90a 120a 150amp on 1/8 alum. I cant create a puddle since dam alum melts and falls off. Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

Try 25-35 amps you’re way to hot

How thick of a material can you arc weld and tig weld with this setup?

Even though the machine can run on 220 I wouldn't go about 1/4"

How do you connect an argon to a machine?it is not visible in the video.

Those torches have a threaded connection that you can hook directly to the gas regulator.

How do I run aluminium with this setup?

You can get aluminum stick rods but that is a messy and difficult process. This machine doesn't run AC so you can't TIG alum. with it.
