It's been brought to my attention that Practical is misspelled in the title. I have a very clear memory of spotting that and fixing it. And yet the vagaries of the Machine Spirit would shame me anyway, and have my misspelling preserved for all eternity. Hohum, it's a painting tutorial, not a spelling competition :P

Nice paint job…. I have seen a few videos doing these beasts…. You are the only one that does the flamer with heat damage… very nice and I’ll be using that. Can’t wait for my dreadknight to arrive so I can get painting

This was quite helpful since Im planning on painting mine with an airbrush also it helped with figuring out some parts as to what should go silver and what not from the back

Yeah, camera work is something I struggle with -- not helped by the fact that I do all this on my phone. that said, I this video is getting on a bit now and I think things have improved slightly recently! One day I'll get myself a nice DLSR or the like and will be able to really get in there with the shots :)

Great work! Just a thought but as you went with a green base, would a dark green ink instead of the blue for the shading work better to sell the scale in the fact that metal reflecting it’s environment?

Yeah, I think that could definitely work! The ‘brief’ for this guy was to get similar vibes to the box art for Grey Knights, hence the blue, but silver is like white or black - loads of possibilities for shading and tinting!

Sweet sexy metal baby! For the white. If you can, try out Pro Acryl Titanium White or AK Intense White. Both have amazing coverage for white paints. And aren't grainy either.
