Build your own narrow console table for about $30 using 4 boards! Just chop and nail together, no screws, no plywood, no pocket holes!
Stain it for a rustic look, paint it for a modern farmhouse style.

I would like to take a moment to acknowledge whoever edits these videos goes out of there way to mute out the miter saw and dub in music. Great job, stylish, simple but noticeable. Really like the 2nd one in white with the accented joints.

How about a design same height, same width but place the support posts at the back of the table, where the table top and base would be cantilevered? A middle support could be added to hold shoes in a vertical, toe down position supported by a peg. Might even have enough room for two rows of shoes for a more than two person family.

Love your videos! They are so helpful for beginners. I can tell other newbies to make sure your boards aren't twisted. My 2X4 was were worse than I thought, making fitting the pieces a nightmare as I didn't notice how out of whack it was until putting on (or trying to put on) the 1X10. Eventually, I triumphed, but I could have saved myself hours as my attempted fixes that made things worse :)

That looks great. Simple, sturdy, & looks awesome w/the rest of your theme. I might be able to handle this one & use it as a TV stand. Could even add a 3rd shelf in the middle. What's your thought on a 3 shelf TV stand? Could it be done & sturdy enough w/the boards also going around the edge like the top & bottom shelves w/the trim boards on the edges? Am I making any sense to you on what I'm saying? Well it looks amazing, Chris from Missouri
