Sweet! Mirkwood and Fangorn are probably my favorite places in lotr. Something about dark forests. Also, cool shirt. I need a balrog shirt.

You are absolutely right about the static grass applicator, I used one for the first time yesterday, and I’m really happy with the results. Can’t believe I’ve not tried one before now. Great vid by the way.

Green Tree I had the exact same reaction when I used mine for the first time, they are so awesome and it's such a satisfying feeling watching all the grass just look absolutely magical straight away :D thanks :)

I agree, these definitely look nicer than what I imagine a “bloody golf green” to be! The red just wouldn’t fit in.

MightyWolve It's all woodland scenics tree products, so their armatures, and then clump foliage of different styles and colours. 3mm MDF for the base. Static grass from Noch and the applicator is by PICO :)

You can do both buddy! There is lots of pre-made stuff like grass mats and battle mats or you can make it with flock and static grass :)

I use geek gaming matt scenic sealant you can get it from my shop in the description :)

i simply use a piece of foam that i rubbed on my tshirt to make static grass XD

IronLion3391 yeah it was a big static grass mat by PICO, which I then hit a bunch of layers of grasses to make it look less like a golf green haha. Most hobby stores will carry them but you can order them online too :)

What size armatures did you use? They come in different lengths and trying to work out which are best for 28mm minis.

A mix of sizes works best man, but the taller you can go the better, wargaming trees are never large enough. Really trees should be about 1ft tall Haha.
