Hi roger, I used a gas touch and painters scraper to do my under body and inner guards, you would find it a lot easier then the electric heat gun, thanks for searing 😎👍

That will work, and I have a propane torch, but for me the heat gun was a safer option. heat is the key to softening it for removal.

Softball injury. I couldn't work out the ANGLE on the field and ended up GRINDING it out. LOL!

the best way to remove undercoating is to use a steamer, much faster and a much better job.

I've never see it done that way, what kind of steamer are you using?

@@RogersABodyGarage something that heat the water at 212-230 deg F and can pressurize it at 2000+PSI, usually tool location centers have that type of machine. the portable ones are usually heated with an oil burner.

I know this video is two years old but that coating is the devil. I tried to soak it in goo gone ans hit it with 3000 psi pressure washer. Totaly just laughed at me. A heat gun was the only way but it is still so time consuming😢.
