The mold that they are poured in is 3-D printed and it’s probably some type of silicone which is very good at taking up small details before it solidifies so the 3-D printed texture comes out onto the vane’s surface

That's a great idea. Never thought of that. I guess it's still 3D printed manufacturing if that's how it's done. I see how that would make them more durable.

I used to fletch my own when we shot aluminum shafts & always fletched full helical feathers because it spins the shaft & causes any fixed broad head to fly true.

I started with offset vanes but found that the helical does a way better job. And with the easy vanes I don't need a jig to glue them on!

I used the outer limits archery blood canes for years until they stopped making them. Same thing as those except they had 3 pin holes in them so you could put a glue drop in it. They did very well. I’ve shot them through animals. Eventually... because they are plastic ... they dry rot and crack. Usually would take 2-3 seasons. They quit making them .......

Do they work with “blade rests”? Can you use them on recurve bows?

I've never tried with a blade rest... The "wrap" part of them is very thin, so if the blade is in constant contact with the arrow then that part of the fletch would interact with the blade just like a wrap would. It should work with a recurve, especially if you use a Berger, but again I have not tried.
