Ingredients
- 8 cups Flour
- 3 Tablespoon of baking powder
- Half teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda
- Half teaspoon of cream of tartar
- 500g softened butter
- 4 eggs
- 2 tablespoon of vanilla essence
- 2 cups of sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 150 degrees
- Mix your softened butter and 2 cups of sugar in a separate bowl until you have a creamy consistency.
- in a separate bowl, mix your 4 eggs and your two tablespoons of vanilla essence.
- pour your egg and vanilla essence mixture into the butter mixture and mix it together until you have a creamy consistency.
- in another separate bowl, pour 8 cups of flour.
- add half a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda and half a teaspoon of cream of tarter in your flour mixture
- add 3 tablespoons of baking power in your flour mixture
- mix your flour thoroughly to ensure that all the dry ingredients are properly mixed
- Create a hole in the middle of your flour
- Pour your butter mixture into the middle of the flour
- Mix throughly until you get the perfect consistency.
- Grease your pan with oil or butter
- Form little balls with your dough and use a fork to press down/shape
- Bake at 150-160 degrees for 25-30 minutes
