No need to buy expensive vegetarian sausages anymore! These homemade vegan sausages are easy to make and delicious. Thanks to silken tofu and lots of veggies, they are not tough and rubbery like seitan often is. A best meaty vegan sausage recipe that is healthy, simple and full of good ingredients!

Ingredients:
(6 sausages)
1 onion
100 g cremini mushrooms
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp light soy sauce
1 carrot
100 g pointed cabbage
200 g silken tofu
120 g wheat gluten
1 tbsp cayenne pepper powder
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp black pepper powder
barbecue sauce

This is exactly the sort of thing I've imagined for sausage. The Gluten blended with blended veg would keep it moist and tender. But I'd consider things like Nutmeg sage parsley mustard coriander thyme juniper

Thank you for your feedback!! The recipe and the ingredients for it are really simple, give it a try, it's fun too! By the way, you could also use cotton cloth instead of aluminum foil, if you would like to thank the environmental damage, which thoughts I also had while learning and doing.

l’ll try this recipe, it’s similar to one l’d made previously, but was slightly too moist. I’ll wrap the sausages in parchment paper before using the aluminium. Thank you. 😊

Thanks for your feedback and trying it out! If you feel that the sausage dough is too wet, it may be that the vegetable part is a bit too much, and you may make minor adjustments by reducing the vegetable paste or increasing the gluten powder. Hope you make your favorite vegetarian sausages:-))

Hey there! I'm thrilled that you're interested in giving this recipe a shot. If you decide to substitute mushrooms with veggie meat, that should work just fine. Just remember to soften the veggie meat ahead of time. Alternatively, you can skip the mushrooms altogether. They mainly add extra flavor to the veggie sausage, and not having them won't really impact the sausage's shape or texture. So, feel free to customize it to your liking!😀

I don't know if could work, but chickpea flour always comes in my mind when I think in a gluten free version of sausages. Some people make with cornstarch or tapioca, I don't like these because is to much starch and carbohydrates and is bad for my health, but if you don't have a problem with them and chickpea flour doesn't work out, they will.

I appreciate you have choose the ingredients very well, You make in another way, You don't make sausage, you make round ball and fry in deep oil, if you don't want oil, you wash under running tap. You add in curry, don't add nonveg, you can add green peas or red bean in the curry. Very nice job. Jay shree ram.

If ever ingredients will spit inside oil, you give coating of flour rice flour. You can keep for longer periods inside freeze. You don't need to wash and remove oil, use very lesser oil in curry , because round ball already have oil. Sprouted red beans or sprouted mung beans give a flavor of nonveg. Thanks for the feedback! This recipe really isn't spicy. But you can totally add less or no chili powder, or you can add just the right amount of chili sauce to the BBQ sauce at the end to spice it up:-))

Aluminum foil can be safely exposed to temperatures up to 250°C in the oven. But I understand your concern and you can also replace the foil with cotton and string:-))

Tofu can be left out, which will give the sausage a little more juice, but will not affect the overall shape and structure. If the vegetable juice is too dry when mixing, you can add a little water.

Ciao:-) La farina di glutine è un tipo speciale di farina che di solito è disponibile nei negozi biologici, nei supermercati vegani o online, prova questa query:wheat gluten Puoi avvolgere con carta pergamena o un panno di cotone sottile e lo spago dovrebbe essere un sostituto migliore della pellicola.

Gluten (Seitan) ist ebenfalls eine sehr charakteristische Zutat und hat eine lange Geschichte in der chinesischen Küche. Sie können gebraten, frittiert oder gebacken werden, aber ich habe mich für dieses vegetarische Wurstrezept von den deutschen Würsten inspirieren lassen...Und bin ich mit den vegetarischen Würsten, die derzeit auf dem Markt angeboten sind, eher unzufrieden, daher wollte Ich selber versuchen, einen leckeren und gesunden "Wurstersatz" zu machen😋 Wenn Du mal das Rezept probierst, würde ich über Dein Feedback sehr freuen! Einen schönen Wochenstart wünsche ich Dir!

@@soyasoyang-soykitchen Ich habe statt Spitzkohl die Blätter von einem Blumenkohl genommen. die sind etwas herber, haben aber den Würste einen sehr schönen runden Geschmack gegeben. Das ist das erste mal , dass ich Kohl in einer Gluten Wurst verwendet habe. Tofu und Kichererbsenmehl verwende ich oft Danke für das tolle Rezept

@@unserhaus684 Ich finde Deine Kombinationen auch sehr interessant. Ja, ich denke, wenn man ein paar Mal mit Gluten gearbeitet hat, kann man ruhig auch mit verschiedenen Gemüsesorten und Pilzen experimentieren, dadurch findet man bestimmt die beste "Gemüse Gluten Wurst"😀

Thanks for the recipe. What kind of blender do you use? How do you chop the vegetables without any liquid? I read the instructions for mine and they say not to chop anything without liquid.

Hello! I use a Turmix Blender, 450 Watt. Because these mashed vegetables contain a lot of water and have silk tofu, the blender can work even without adding liquid. If your machine requires it, you can also add a little water since appropriate. When you finally add the gluten flour, the excess water will automatically drain out and you should have no problem.

可以!洋蔥借用它的香氣主要是為了讓素食香腸更有肉的味道。你可以用少量薑蓉或其他你喜爱的香料来代替它。

I can advise to add for the real meat sausage taste the spices of nutmeg and coriander. I’m from Russia and here all the sausages no matter vegetarian or real consist this spices, which is giving that taste

Uh … thoughtful recipe BUT a big NO on wrapping food in aluminum foil which leaks … you guessed it - aluminum! Otherwise, a thoughtful & very nice video. Congrats. Now … what can be used instead of the aluminum foil? 🤔

You make very beautiful videos, where aesthetics are also an inspiration. Looks very inspiring. one question comes to mind. What do you think: The amount of liquid is one of the denominators in the substance ratio equation. Can cabbage be replaced with sauerkraut like kimchi made from the same type of cabbage plant. I'm going to try this.

@@soyasoyang-soykitchen Thank you kindly for the reply. Making plant-based sausages has interested me for a long time, but the amount of water in the mixture has caused me to fail. It has not occurred to me that the mixture of wheat protein gluten, glutenin protein and gliadin protein holds the shape of the sausage together and gives it a cutable structure. Sauerkraut is really powerful and I agree, it should be used in moderation. Thoughts in the context: I am also interested in how the entire sausage is fermented and dried into an even firmer and possibly longer lasting structure. Fermentation also converts the nutritional content into a form that is easier for human digestion, as is known Your channel is interesting, I have already found useful ways to prepare a wider based diet.

I am giving you one suggestion to cook food on steam. You take steam tray sprinkle rice flour or kassva flour or maize. Add graded carrot, cauliflower, French beans, cabbage and other ingredients of your choice. You again cover the pan again with same flour. Spices and salt, you arrange. Cook for 30 minutes. After steaming eat it, next day pass some oil on the pan and slightly fry it. This recipe is old Chinese women recipe. She has boiled the taro in vinegar and cut into pieces. After that she has arrange the tray , she has added spices in flour and sprinkles some on tray. I want you to keep tradition and arrange tray in different ways for easy cooking during illness. Unfortunately, aluminum foil is toxic, especially when it comes into contact with acid or salt. I love vegan sausages, but it's better to use other materials. I wrap my sausages in a cloth like a napkin dumpling. I use it to wrap small sausages.

Спасибо за русский перевод. У меня именно тех ингредиентов что описали вы. Но у меня есть простые шампиньоны, китайская капуста, простая мука и у меня нет шелкового тофу. Есть простой тофу, и острый тофу уже с приправами . Но я думаю,что и из этого неплохо получится. Спасибо
