I am glad I found your channel. I am a beginner adult violin player, and the foundational tips are very helpful. I hear better than I read, how can I prevent sliding my fingers to play the correct note while practicing (my reading is improving)? Thank you!

Great question! Make sure your posture is correct, and your left hand is placed correctly on the neck of the violin. Use finger tips to help you get the right note, place the finger firmly, and you’ll be on your way to getting better intonation and being more confident in your sight reading!
