Just a quick EASY way on how to mow those double stripes even though its EASY to me some people struggle to remember hopefully this helps

Thank god I found this eventually... in other videos, seeing Dan effortlessly double stripe, I was thinking "What is this sourcery?" 😂 his sped up back and forth mowing dazzled me 😅

When I started we stuck a plank out the side of the mower the same width as the mower lol , how many times I caught the practice nets at the cricket club lol

How do you know how much width to leave when you miss a stripe? Is that from experience? Short of getting a tape measure out, I either leave it too wide or too narrow 🙄😔

So I'm assuming that when your cutting that lawn, your mower is set To the lowest setting ❓do you always cut it low even during the summer months ❓do you always bag your clippings as well ❓over here in the states we generally start out low but as the warmer months transpires when useally cut high (3.25-4.00) With tall fescue and Rye mixture. What are your thoughts. Last but not least your reel mowers don't cut very high right 1.25"...or so ❓

Thats cut on no 3 i think that time of year so around 30mm i only cut short after scarifying as ryegrass isbetter left long 15-25mm depending if dwarf rye or a full rye,

youve missed making digs at me you mean, i have my time off tried the power washing vids but noone hardly watched so just been being lazy most the time if im being honest and doing the leg work for this product launch yesterday

I prefer to go back down rather than miss a stripe but that's because im a perfectionist and always misjudge the width haha

You can do that but two things, you end up double striping one side of the double stripe which stands out and in winter your giving more wear to an already been over area, so minimal wear my way and more consistent depth of stripe

Triple exactly the same but on that first block you do two extra stripes then go down the side as in the vid but miss two instead of one and go down the two you have missed this creating triple stripes the key is getting the phantom double stripe correct but if unsure you can always measure it n make little markers at the end
