easyJet is a low-cost European point-to-point airline that has a fleet of Airbus airplanes. You can join easyJet via the Generation easyJet Pilot Training programme with CAE. The Generation easyJet Pilot Pilot Training Programme is Mutli-Crew Pilot Licence (MPL), or competency-based programme that is designed specifically for easyJet. This video shares some details about the program.

@@stephenav8 Hi Stephen, apologies for my late response. I was locked out of my KZfaq account and it took ms a while before getting it reinstated. Basically I just wanted to know, they type of material that will be covered in the initial assessment and just the overall curriculum and if we can start studying the curriculum before we begin flight training. I think this programme is good, a large and stable airline which has a good reputation. I know a lot of people from CAE are experiencing delays at the moment though however. Some up to 5 months. Quite a few aircraft have been written off in Phoenix AZ from a storm which won’t make it any easier for instructors and students.

It is interesting to learn that but CAE should be able to handle such setbacks much better because the organization is financially solvent.

@@vincentalakija5515 It’s still a good time to go with CAE, especially the easyJet route as you’re given a conditional job offer at the end of it.

@@vincentalakija5515Yes, CAE have majorly messed up. Trainees are being sent home from Phoenix and the advertised 18 month time is now taking 2.5-3 years as a result. CAE are fully aware of this and completely aware they do not have the capacity to train their cadets and yet still opt to re-open the course. There are no guaranteed jobs. EasyJet require you, if they haven’t changed anything recently, to pass an interview at the end of training, which is highly misleading. Not to mention I’ve heard easyJet cadets received a letter which revoked the intent to employ letter. They did create a hold pool, but not until several months later. Many students transferred to an ATPL (at great cost!) and weren’t taken on by the airline. Avoid, avoid, avoid, is what I’ve heard by cadets going through this course right now.

Is there a way to prepare for CAE Oxfords aptitude test like the maths/ physics portion? I've been looking but I can't find any exanples they use to test prospective students.

They actually have a program they sell in order for people to prepare for the assessment.

Look up the symbiotics aptitude practice question packages, they’re expensive but worth it.

@@vincentalakija5515 not sure why I commented that 3 times😂, the packages are definitely worth it though as you get written feedback after the tests. When I did the aptitude tests (maths, physics, cognitive thinking, etc) in June, I found the maths and physics to be quite hard so make sure you revise the topics listed before taking it. Good luck👍

Hi, I totally understand your fears and the financial hurdle. I do think a program like this offers that job security in some way and that should ease your fears a bit. Also, it makes it easier to secure the funds for training especially if you use the recommended financial institutions by CAE.

⁠hello sir, I attended stage two at cae for this specific cadet program and I’m yet to attend my stage three. I bought the symbiotics package and honestly it’s pretty much the same as buying the “latest pilot job cae package”. The content is very similar and it costs way less. Good luck!

This is expensive no doubt. This is also not a competitive program that can be very difficult to get into. The hardest aspect of this is being able to secure the loan for the program.

@@stephenav8No worries, I was considering this until I was convinced by the cadets there not to. A quick search on PPrune will reveal the shortcomings of CAE. Not to mention the events at CAE Oxford…
