How do you pay to enter Grizzly bear country? You pay in blood of course. Our donation begins the second we hit the trail head. Amanda insists in bringing sugary snacks on a trail well known for Grizzly bear activity while I scare them off with my chronic wheezing.
While prancing around this spectacular mountain meadow, I share some priceless tips on how to photograph the mountains in summer. I also share some practical tips on hydration and food containment which might just save your life.
Will the light deliver some juicy shots? Will the camper still retain it's romance after weeks of heavy usage and will Guinness finally offer me a sponsorship deal?

The old joke is: In bear country wear a bell to let the bears know you're there and so you don't startle them Carry pepper spray to ward off an attack. You can tell which bears are in the area by their scat. Black bear scat is smaller and has seeds from the fruit they eat. Grizzly bear scat is much larger, contains bells and smells of pepper.

Absolutely fantastic - or should I say 'tressmendous'. So funny, and what a wonderful story telling hike and video. As for the beauty of the landscape and the images - glorious. Amanda is a delight. Such a funny and good-natured lady. You two are such a great team. I just love this video. Thanks guys. I’m in Scotland should I use my gear around so many midge flies is it worth the risk of ruining your gear if they get in somewhere in lens or camera as they’re so small

Brilliant photos and great to watch, midge net essential head wear in Scotland last week also and its true you just can't see when wearing them. A tip for you to try, Avon Skin So Soft works well at keeping midge at bay along with the net of course.🙂👍🦟🦟🦟🦟

Great video Gavin with truly top photography tips, particularly the one regarding the „pano-sandwich“! I have to point out that as far as mosquito nets go I am way ahead of you. Mine is much bigger and goes all the way down to my waist! I had it custom made when I was doing my military service and had to stand guard in a mosquito infested swamp every night. The officers weren’t too happy though.

Loved this trip. Amanda, you are the best. Great advice for this type of shot. I am waiting for delivery of a canon 17-40mm f4. Can't wait to try something like this out. I live in Herefordshire in the UK so no mosquito's here. What you need is a hand held battery operated travel fan. Clip it onto the tripod or near as with a flexible arm in front of the lens and no more having to wave your hand about. Especially when you need to run away from casting your own shadow, unless you have got 10 foot long arms LOL. I love you you guys.
