Żabka is actually rather expensive. People often think that Biedronka is the less costly of the popular chains. But I remember that a recent survey demonstrated that it was behind several of its competitors. The cheapest was Kaufland, also high on the list were Auchan and Lidl. Someone mentioned inflation, yes unfortunately the last year's averaged indicator (18.4%) puts Poland among the most inflation-affected countries of the EU. We have not had inflation this high for over a quarter of a century.

Thank you so much for sharing! Let me check other supermarkets then :) I also read that research and went to lidl afterwards, some products were cheaper than in biedronka, some were more expensive

At least $1.00 can buy 2 noodles in Poland. Here in Daly City, California $1.00 is just to buy a Juicy Fruit Chewing Gum.

Here in Daly City, California $1.00 is a small Hershey Chocolate. Still Cheap in Poland as compared here in Daly City.

Carrefour and Auchan is more expensive. There’s also Aldi and Lidl. There used to be Tesco in Poland but not now. I like Tesco here in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
