This is amazing!!! I'm so bummed I wasn't exposed to more Filipino food before I went vegan. When I visit my Filipino family I can never really enjoy 90% of what they serve at parties but I deeeefinitely need to try some of these recipes so I can feel more connected. 💕

I really like how you're doing the 'trying ____ for 24hrs' trend in an educational/helpful way with cuisines fr different countries. It's something I wish more americans knew about, and esp. helpful for us plant based folks because so many people around the world have traditionally plant based food!!! Thank you!!!

Wow I always see those bananas at my local Hispanic/Latin store and they label them as “mini bananas.” I always knew that you don’t eat them the same way as regular bananas but didn’t know any recipes that required them so I never bought them, but now I’m definitely going to give this recipe a try!!

This is my first time watching your Video, so as a fellow Filipino I am impress to see you can make a healthy Vegan alternative to Filipino Dishes. What I wish for your next Video if you have the time to read this comment of mine is if you can make a Vegan substitution for the Filipino Dessert “Halo-Halo” or Mix-Mix in English. There’s no meat in this dessert but as I observe Vegans can’t or won’t eat Dairy products, which makes “Halo-Halo” mostly dairy because of the Milk mix in and the other mix sweets like the Flan and Ice Cream.

The food is really the same as what I ate in Colombia, we have dishes just like that, the banana you use is more of a plantain than a banana (fruit) I bought it once and to me it had more of a plantain texture, maybe is an in between? I feel like we have many similarities in food and culture.

@@Amystudio yeah I'm Filipino, but when I visited Venezuela, and Mexico I was really Surprised with the similarities in culture, traditions, and cuisine....especially in Mexico we filipinos literally have almost everything of their food and Mexicans also have a lot of our food embedded in their culture, when I tried to look it up I found out that yhe philippines and Mexico where both connected and rulled together by Spain, for 333 years
