Eating STREET FOOD in WORLDS OLDEST CHINATOWN 🇵🇭 Binondo Manila Philippines

What an awesome day in Manila! We spent the day in the worlds OLDEST chinatown! Dating back to 1594! Even though you may think its old, the food, flavour and culture is still very much ALIVE here in the Philippines, and it certainly did not disappoint!
In this video we venture around Chinatown also known as Binondo and get totally stuck into a wide variety of food and flavour! Our very first street food tour in the Philippines!
First up is Dong Bei Dumplings - excellent pork and chive dumplings 200 Pesos for 14! What a deal!
Next up we try Calamansi juice for the first time! 80 Pesos
Lumpia (Giant vegetable burrito/spring roll - very delicious - 95 Pesos
Shanghai Fried Siopao - this was the HIGHLIGHT of the food journey we had today! The most delicious steamed bun for only 30 Pesos, we can see why this was so popular!

@@eduardochavacano I am a Filipino . I always think of Binondo as Chinatown. I live in Metro Manila. I have Chinese Filipino friends who live in that area. I had Chinese classmates in college who also live in Binondo. During Chinese New Year, that place had festivity, lion dance , etc.

Try to go to Barbara’s Heritage Restaurant in Manila. They have dinner with show (Filipino cultural dance) You guys would love it. And once you come back from your island trip, I would recommend to go to Villa Escudero, to experience a restaurant in man made water falls!

You should also visit Cebu City and try eating the best pork lechon and Chinese Ngo Hiong and many more. Be careful out there guys always wear your bag to the front when you're in crowded place my sister taught me that when I was working in manila.🙏🏻 the great way to experience is to mix with the locals that right , but just to be extra safety💖 enjoy your stay in Philippines guys 🇵🇭
