Whole foods come first, and supplements are a safeguard!
🌿 Probiotic - I take a “synbiotic” (prebiotic and probiotic in one) and it’s double encapsulated to ensure that it can bypass the stomach acid and do its work in the intestine and colon
🌿 B12 - liquid taken sublingually (under the tongue to easily get into the bloodstream) before a meal is best
🌿 D3 - I also prefer liquid for this, and coupled with K2 for optimal absorption. This vitamin is fat soluble, meaning it absorbs best with a fat (there is fat in this supplement)
🌿 Prenatal - look for one that is organic and whole food based as opposed to synthetic (this goes for regular multivitamins as well)
🌿 Omega 3 - an algae-based omega is best (cuts out the middle man, meaning, fish get their omegas from algae so we can too). Fish are all contaminated with mercury and other heavy metals as well as microplastics, so why bother.
