This is one of the first GW models I painted back in the day, when they were made of metal and way less detailed (but equally fun). I loved watching the new sculpt painted with your unique style!

When making your glazes are you just diluting the paint on like a wet palette with water? Or are you using like a thinner or a citadel medium?

What kind of palette do you mix your contrast on? I've been avoiding using them on my wet palette as I've heard conflicting info that it'll ruin the consistency of the paint

I tried doing the feathering method on the teeth but my contrast paint dries before I can wick it away. Do I need to water it down?

No, you shouldn't. The thing is, you need to be VERY fast, also depending on your local weather it can be nearly impossible. As an alternative I recommend you thin it down with Contrast medium and apply it as glazes gradually building the colour

If I were to use this for squighogz in 40K, I’m a little worried theyre too big to just do the red. Would you recommend that red/flesh tone mix on the undersides of the big 40K squigs? Maybe a drybrush?

If nothing is clearly stated no. I'm very clear with my instructions. Understand that some batches of paints can be different and if you need to thin down your particular pot of Basilicanum, do so

Enhorabuena como siempre ,solo un comentario en febrero salen las nuevas pinturas de army painter tipo contrast quizas sea una nueva oportunidad para hacer crecer aún más tu canal ,,,yo ahí lo dejo.

Lo he comentado alguna vez, pero hubiese estado encantado en hacer una review si AP se hubiese dignado en contactar conmigo y ofrecerme una muestra. Pero como ese no ha sido el caso, no estoy personalmente interesado. Las pinturas eso sí parecen buenas, pero la selección de colores parece una copia exacta a las de Citadel, lo que a mí me parece un error y espero equivocarme cuando salga la gama completa. Si la gama es una copia, no hay interés alguno en comprarlas para uso personal. Como filosofía del canal eso sí, no tengo intención de usarlas para los vídeos de todas formas por la misma razón que no uso pinturas de Pro-Acryl, Kimera, Greenstuff World etc, cuando las tengo. Quiero que mis vídeos sean lo más fáciles de replicar posible y eso incluye disponibilidad de las pinturas en sí. Yo por ejemplo no tengo ninguna tienda a más de 300 km a la redonda que venda pinturas de AP. Citadel y Vallejo son marcas que cualquier persona en el mundo puede comprar fácilmente sin tener que recurrir a pedidos online, especialmente Citadel, y esa es una de las principales razones por las que me limito si puedo a esa marca. La otra es que además es mi marca favorita, un win-win como dirían los anglosajones. Gracias por cierto 😘
