True story that's why I quit used to make 1200 a month profit on eBay as a side hustle got to the point my prices were far too high just to break even due to fees

Hi Cole, I had a look on your ebay site, I noticed you are not adding the fees to your postage, so if you charge 2.94 it will cost you £0.38 in charges, so for anything that is not clothing and it costs 2.94 to post you need to charge £3.40 to break even on postage. Without any packing costs. Just a thought, great post as always, glad you are selling well.

OOooOOOooOOoooOoo this is an interesting tactic! I wonder if any other sellers do this? I'm not sure how I feel about charging people the fees haha! I'll have to do some research on this subject! thanks so much for the great feedback

@@ColeClearsDebt Most do it, otherwise it is costing you money to post. Absorb the fees on the goods on sale but not the postage. Clothes only are free of fees at the moment but this does not include shoes. Example: if you sold an item for £1 with £2.94 postage you would make 20p after all the fees.

@@storkeyes yeah I had this issue with books as the seller can decide what they pay for some postage despite me setting it and I've actually lost money on some book sales
