I Figured It Out! Why People Are Hating....
On this channel we test and review ebikes and accessories. Its our goal to help you find the perfect ebike. When we review an electric bike, we don't simply ride it once and make a video, we ride it for 50-100 miles to get familiar with all it has to offer, then we make a video. But we don't stop there, we will make follow up videos as we continue to ride.

I heard about this yesterday but when I looked it was $200 off for the Deer Batter. $699 instead of $899. Still pretty steep for me at the moment. I wish I could scoop one up at half price.

You were 100% correct, we had same issues from fed ex damages and fed ex called us about this and lectric also listened to the problems and possible remedies. It has to be expensive for lectric to keep reshaping fenders and wheels. I’m sure they’ll make a change

I like your channel for a couple reasons one I think you’re very unbiased. I love that you love electric bikes, and that you are critical of some things that’s all we can ask for, but I really am enjoying the slice of life of riding an electric bike that you are giving us.

I enjoyed riding with you today. Sidewalks, or paths, are definately the way to go. When you went to the island, last Saturday, I felt unsafe when you had those narrow bikeways, with power poles in the middle, busy roads just to your left, potholes and sand and high temperatures. Glad you survived to ride another day; pathways rule! Thanks for sharing. Mike in Oz ps I've started videoing my rides in Hervey Bay, Queensland.

I like your videos. You are one of the few that give honest reviews. One that I used to trust has recently started getting very close to companies they review so they are off the list. There's even one channel I have zero trust in but they make entertaining videos. One thing all of you have in common is it's your channel! If I don't like what you post I don't watch or even unsubscribe. Crazy how viewers have that option.

Gotta have a 4-foot chain lock with an ebike. Otherwise, you can't lock it to flag poles and other objects when there's no proper bike rack. Also, you need to find a way to loop the lock through a frame element, then through the rack, where you loop it over and around a couple things to hold it in place. Having the lock fall out really sucks. I use a plastic zip tie at the head of the lock on the right front of my rear basket. This keeps the keyhole facing outwards and the lock pin facing upwards. Even a heavy chain lock can be fairly handy.

I bought a XP Lite two months ago and love it, I can now zip off to the store and buy a few items as I need them instead of having to take the bus and buy items and then have tom carry them on the bus and then walk.

Why I watch your reviews and a few others ,who give honest reviews. Shipping damage is a common issue among reviewers. Unfortunately haters are way too common.

Hey Pat, well I don't have many to show but I have some info to share and some suggestions on how to lock it up. I don't like the folding locks, they are just a little hard to work with. I like the traditional chain locks. The one I use is Krytonite and its 48" long.

What do they complain about on your channel? You should see the stuff that gets said on mine, lol. The only thing I don't like about Lectrics non trike bikes are their rear wheel builds. The spokes aren't laced right but no one will listen to me. They've had to send me 2 rear wheels under warranty because of spoke issues. You should read my channel description, I'm of the same mindset as you when it comes to honesty about e-bikes.

You can both like Lectric products and call out their shortcomings. I own both 2.0 and 3.0. Have not received upgraded brakes from July. Purchased my 3.0 during period covered by recent recall and now being told my bike is not part of recall after receiving recall email. Like the product for its value but frustrated by current events.

That is strange in your reversal on brake upgrade . Possibly miss the recall time period? They give a max time to send in the brake request . I got my brake upgrade around a couple months ago . They also promised an upgrade controller. I never got the e-mail for that so i sent them an e-mail over a week ago . Couple days ago I received the upgraded controller along with a new display .

Hard to say. What I can say is some people don't have any problems. But far too many do. I guess it depends if you have time, patience and know how to fix it if there are problems. Its a great trike once the problems were worked out.

The light didnt turn for you because you hit the button three times. You are only supposed to hit it one time. There is a timing mechanism you throw off by hitting it three times.

DO NOT BUY A BIKE FROM LECTRIC BIKE COMPANY. i purchased a new XP 3.0. Received it last Friday 9/15/23. Bike came out of the box damaged. NOT SHIPPING DAMAGE. Box looked like new and had no issue's. Rear tire was flat, rear tire was off the rim! Damaged handle for frame fold, Damaged front fender, Paint damage in 4 places, Some scuffs down to bare metal. Bike is NOT ridable. Called Lectric. Was told NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS ON BIKES INCLUDING DAMAGED BIKES SHIPPED TO YOU! They want YOU to pay shipping back to them ($100.00) plus a RESTOCKING FEE of $150.00! This is unacceptable! THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THERE PRODUCTS. What they really want you to do is work on this NEW bike yourself and they make it sound like there doing you a favor by saying they can send you replacement parts if needed? Wow, that's so nice of them! Saves them big money on a quality issue they are having right now in CHINA production. So now you can not ride your bike for weeks waiting on parts assuming you have the tools and know how to do your own repairs? Another option they say is after receiving the new parts take the bike to a local bike shop and have them repair it. Send them a receipt and you could get refunded that cost. Problem with this is NONE of my local bike shops will touch this bike and want nothing to do with it! This is not a shipping issue. They sent me e-mails showing there are damaged spoke nipple inside the rim causing sharp burrs that can punchure the inner tubes causing them to go flat during shipping. They sent me a pictured instruction to remove wheels from bike and inspect for damage spokes. if you have damage spokes they want YOU to file the burrs off then reinstall yellow rim protector and then new tube and install tire back on. THIS IS ON A NEW BIKE YOU HAVE NOT EVEN RODE YET! Who want to work on your new bike and do repairs before you even get a chance to ride it? This is a joke. At this point i have not got anywhere with this company on a resulution which is send me a prepaid label to send this damaged bike back. Legal action is coming next for me. I will get my money back one way or another. People save yourself a big headache and DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Wow, that is nuts. I have heard some people say they had problems and Lectric was quick to make it right. But more often I am hearing these types of stories. Not sure what is going on there. Perhaps its just one or two customer service reps doing this. Maybe consider trying to reach someone else? Certainly sounds like you received a well used bike. Any miles on it? Contact your credit card company, sometimes they will work with you and reverse the charges.

There's an easy method for ice cream, so easy I can't remember it so I'll have to ask my wife. You can probably google it. Its Ice cream in a bag. Put whole milk in a quart size ziplock with whatever flavoring/ingredients you want. Then put that in a 1 gallon size zip lock. Put some ice and cold water into the gallon back and then start squishing it. Manipulate and rotate the bag for about 10 minutes. The ingredients will harden into ice cream. Its a fun activity with kids.

I understand why people feel the way they feel, it’s all about the words you use. Let me give you a example, the tow videos of the Lectric ETRIKE the first video was titled 5 reason you should you buy the Lectric XP ETRIKE instead if saying 5 reasons I like the Lectric xp etrike then you did another one that said 5 reasons you should not buy the Lectric etrike, instead of saying 5 reason you don’t like the Lectric trike. I understand why Lectric doesn’t want to work with you. There are many KZfaqr who review e-bikes all the time and they are very honest with there reviews. I purchased the Lectric etrike before I came across your channel,but I was looking for more information on the Lectric etrike and came across your channel. You seem to be very opinionated even on thing you have not even had any experience with. Example, you again put out a video titled Lectric xp etrike killer, without even putting your hands on the trike you have concluded that that add motor is a batter etrike. I enjoy all the other videos that you put out but when it comes to the Lectric xp trike you seems to bash the company because they said they don’t want to work with you. You may even block me from your channel, but if you keep blocking subscribers because they don’t agree with what you’re saying on a subject then you may not have a channel much longer. However if people are being abusive then please get them gone. Hopefully you receive this message without feeling attacked by me because that’s not what I’m trying to do. I’m like you very honest, but try to be kind with my words. Any keep up the good work making videos, because you make a lot and I do watch them. I enjoy watching your wife riding her Lectric xp trike as well. And your daughter is funny too.

Hey Robert, I don't feel attacked and appreciate your input. No one is perfect and maybe I could title things differently. I am opinionated and I do speak to only the specs sometimes when I don't have a product. I am happy that you enjoy at least some of my videos and hope you will stick around. I'm not concerned about loosing subscribers, sure I would like to grow the channel but truth is more important to me. So people that want to move on a long is fine. I only ban people when they start "attacking", get personal, tell me I'm stupid, or just want to argue. I have no reason to associate with people like that and I don't need them in my life. Some people were just born to hate. But i respect other people's apposing opinions as long as they keep it civil.

Keep complaining about the lectric trike because mine is not good , I have complained and complained now I’m getting another trike because I can’t ride mine, if you don’t complain then they will not correct the problem, when you are on a budget and you are older person you can’t afford to give money 💵 away for non working products, lectric is a good company but they need to fix the problems period ❤

I am not familiar with either so speaking only from the specs. The transit has semi slick tires, and they are small so its only good for hard surfaces. May or may not be able to run thru the grass with them. Its a 759w motor but not all 750w motors are the same, I didn't see a torque rating so I don't know how much power it has to go up hills. Battery is too small. 10ah is very small for a trike. The distance they advertise is tested in lab conditions, plan in cutting that in half to be more realistic. The journey is not an electric trike. Hope this helps.
