Volts = size of the engine

You are awesome. I just sub to you. I was getting confused and I was going to read more later so I could understand what you said in the video but I wasn't looking for a video, I was just going to watch something else and I seen this and you fixed my brain. I feel like caveman that understand electric motor and battery. You explained it really good. I think I was putting to much thought into it. I have to get arid of my vehicle cause insurance went up and I can have a better quality of life without giving almost 70 percent of my income to the insurance company. I have no points on my license but I guess that's life. I have been wanting a motor bike of some kind for a long time and I guess this is my chance. If insurance comes back down and I drive again, my e bike can be a 2nd form of transportation. That's the way I look at it cause I like to depend on myself. I will check out your other videos but I thank you for this video.

Thanks, this is the first video that actually made this make sense to me. Trying to build my first battery for a motor I think is appropriate. I'm a whiz with mechanical contraptions, but I have some difficulty crossing into motorizing, providing power and having enough. Trying 10, 5500mAH, 3.7 volt batterings that can discharge at 18amps, with a motor that is 36v motor that draws 17amp at 36v. (says max power 733). I'm just now learning this, but I figured the motor could run for 2.94hours at that speed?

Can I use a 36v sistem with a 14 or 20 amp?I ask because I buy a ebike but the battery is 36v 8amp and I want more, so I want to know if I can use the same system for a bigger battery, with more amp, thanks

Ziyoujiguang T18 what would be a great controller for 250w hub motor, People say this 250w motor is secretly 350 i dont know hate to burn it up ,What to do to make it faster 36v to a 46v battery 14ah it has 36v 6ah on board does 15mph need about 25mph please help.

You could design a 36V system that would perform exactly the same as a 48 V system, but to achieve the same power, the 36V system will probably require thicker wires to accomodate the extra current. Higher voltage is usually prefered to increase efficiency and lower cost. Watts and Wh are what matters in the end.

Hi How can we Improve a 36v 10.4 amp ebike in range What would we have to change Thank you.
@rogerlafrance63556 жыл бұрын
No! The reason for using higher voltages is to reduce the IxR losses due to resistance thus voltage drop of the wires providing power not only to the motor but also in the motor its self. If you used a 6 volt motor you would have to have wires as thick as your finger to wire it as in old golf karts. The battery would be the same size just wired for 6 volts.

Hey great videos dude! Hey I was thinking about getting a 750w bafan geared hub for my mongoose malus bike. It has 2 battery options 48v 17.5ah or 52v14ah wich one you think better? I would like the extra power of 52v but you said if lower ah less power?

Another thing that needs to be mentioned here is that a battery with Higher Amp-hours will likely have less voltage drop under load than a battery that has less amp-hours as it would have less internal resistance especially as more cells are put in parallel or even the quality of the cells, so you can have less energy being wasted in the battery due to internal heating

Is it safe to use a bigger battery for my ebike ? mine uses 48v 21Ah, and the newer models of my bike uses 48v 42Ah, would it damage my Ebike's engine or would it actually improve the range of how many miles i can do ? i live in China and i'm using (Xiao Niu) brand. Thanks in advance

is the number of amps what matter when it comes to power? how many amps the battery can put out
