grassroots is where its at. i dont like seeing sponsored cars either, they may be well built but i think its more exciting to see a stock looking silvia take off like lightning and disappear around a corner, you dont need stickers to prove youre fast. also street built cars usually drive more aggressively and have subtle details adding to their awesome style!

@GodericG I like the rain only for the fact that it preserves tires. But I prefer a dry surface because you don't have to be so touchy with the throttle and the steering. :)

@driftnut56 matsuri is a drift event held at ebisu mostly at the end of seasons and well some buy a cheap car with a nice setup and missile it till it DIES

I'm in South Texas and drifting is quite big here... There is always going to be the stupid crowd of people who think their mustang is the fastest car in the world, but to say that everyone in the USA ruins drifting is not true. There are 5-10 of my friends who drift and like drifting the way it is supposed to be, Keep Drifting Fun!

@Pupixario its sad but true, here in the USA its hard to find people that arnt stuck up, to many kids give it a bad name, its not even about drifitng any more over here its just a bunch of kids fighting with each other over whos car is better(thank you fast and the furious for ruining it all). your right when you say theres just no spirit over here. its my dream to someday move to japan and really get involved in it cause its just not around over here anymore, its sad.
