One thing that is often not mentioned in videos about the blue tooth S-pens like those on Note 9, Note 10 and Tab S6, is that the charging is only essential in order to access Bluetooth features such as gestures and remote control of cameras etc. The pen does NOT need to be charged to access all the other writing, drawing, navigating and air command functions. Some viewers are getting the impression that the pen needs charging like Apple pencil in order to work at all. This is not so. Can you address this in your next review? Otherwise, an excellent effort on your part. I look forward to more about the Galaxy Tab S6.

Would love to see Samsung create a larger version of their Galaxy Tab S-Series... to take on the iPad Pro 12.9". Still pre-ordered my 256G version with the 50% off keyboard cover. It's great to see Samsung give so much bang for the buck with the included S-Pen and discounts.

5:03 In the quick start guide or I think someone found out is that you can mount the S Pen in the side of the tablet where the magnet is without putting it in the charging area so it's a easier access to it.

Hello!! I wanna get a new tablet, thinking of tab S4 (new, the guy from samsung store offered it yesterday) but worried about Android updates. Do you think it still worth picking it up now in 2020?! Cause I think S6 is still so expensive at least here in Brazil. And I didn't like the LCD display on S6 Lite. And S5e doesn't support Spen. I have note 10 plus though. Please help me... Just to mention tab S4 is almost half the price of tab S6, here in Brazil...

The s pen can magnetically attach on the side, it just doesn't charge there

Nice review, you can actually stick the S pen at the sides of the tablet. Try all the sides and you'll discover where it can stick.

Hopefully they upgraded their speaker some since the tab S4. I had to go through the process of buying a new speaker and replacing the top right one on the tab as for due to a blown speaker. Certain videos on KZfaq and music would make it rattle. Very disappointing for 500 to $600 tablet. Certainly looking forward to getting my hands on one of these

Ive watched a few vidz on the Tab 6. That was really goog info. I'm using a note 9 and not going to buy a Note 10. My old tab is an asus nexus 7 so needs an upgrade. Waiting for the keyboard cover to turn up in Dubai before I buy but watched Flossy Carter vidz and torn between buying the S5e or S6. No sign of the 256 8gb version here but have people going to and from UK to fix that. I will give you a sub mate to see what else you have

You forgot to mention about DEX. That's why it's a cool tablet that you could use it as a regular computer or a laptop. And you could use DEX with or without the keyboard case

I would like to present a problem I am experiencing with my new Tab S6. Whenever I have the wifi on the S6 two of my xfinity connected TVs lose cable access. When I turn off the wifi on the Tab S6 and restart the xfinity box on the affected TVs the cable returns and will stay on unless I turn the wifi back on the S6. We have tested this more than 20 times. Any ideas?

Pens on iPad Pro and surface pro dock at side, so Samsung put it on the back even though this made the tablet can't lay down flatly on a table. Apple Pencil 2 has the wireless charging port on the middle, so Samsung put it at the bottom of S-pen even though the pen only can be charged in on direction. Samsung remains me of my high school life while made some mistakes on purpose when copying friends homework.

I have the Tab s4 and see no reason really to upgrade to S6. only 3 reasonable upgrades are processor -From Snapdragon 835 to 855 and next the S pen feature upgrade but m quite happy with the s4 s pen as well. Other then that Battery is actually less in s6 then s4. 7300mah in s4 and 7040mah in s6 so thats a bummer. also a both way Lock Unlock Fingerprint sensor was desired. not there. and the biggest deal breaker for an upgrade. No 3.5mm Audio port..... The only upgrade that I wished was there in s4 with reasonable price was 128gb and 256gb internal storage. s6 does that. but thats about it. the reason one would buy this tab is the screen. the screen is just awesome. its the same screen on both so thats all. I hoped for better Upgrade in S6 but m dissapointed. they should have made this as s4 E , S etc etc and make a really upgraded s6 rather then copying ipad.

Can you compare the S3 and the S6? I'm trying to decide whether to upgrade. I did try out the S4 but didn't like how heavy it was and didn't so much like the aspect ratio for reading books and comics.

The Tab S6 has the same aspect ratio as the Tab S4. TAB S3 the same as the iPad, iPad air and iPad Pro 10.5. IPad Pro 11.0 inch has an odd aspect ratio. Comparison between a Tab S3 and a Tab S6 would be a very sad one. I would stick with the Tab S3 if you really want it for books and comics.

@@lauriealach1072 Thanks for responding! If I was looking at the more productivity aspects, I assume the S6 would be better? I wonder if you have the S3 and can speak a bit on the weight of it with the cover vs the S6 with the cover? I wasn't in love with the aspect ratio for the S4 but in the end it was the weight of it that was the main reason for me selling it (I carry my tab literally everywhere).

Great Video . But I am not convinced why should i buy the Tab S6 over the Tab S4..... Because there's remains a question about how S pen Gestures, just a higher RAM, Processor, Slight increased resolution will affect my daily works.... Plus the s pen looks really slim, the bezels are just about right for holding the Tab S4 and it has slightly better battery. And most importantly the Tab s6 is more expensive comparing the Specs it provides...

Going to get Galaxy S4 as the price dip. Can't just threw my AKG headphones for it. No audio jack is a big no no for most of us already spent hundreds on headphone or earphone. SD 845 still not to far behind the 855.

I've had mine for a couple of days now Love the Dex mode and how light and sleek it is. My keyboard case hadn't shipped, suppose to arrive on the 19th, so I bought a cheap $9 slyicon case for it so I don't lose the s pen.

@@shannongear8691 no this tablet is really thin, which is cool but there's no room to put the s pen inside it like the note. So it attaches to the back with this weak magnet. This is my only complaint with this tablet. So you really have to get a case to keep the s pen in place to keep from losing it.

@@shannongear8691 well I ordered the keyboard case they Samsung is promoting because they gave half off when I pre-ordered the tab s6. But it is on back order so I ordered a cheap slyicon case on Amazon just to keep the s pen in place. Plus ive been reluctant to take it out of the house without a case. Krattle Rattle Krattle Rattle Doubtful. Mine are past that stage. 3 boys (9,10,21) and 1 daughter (19). Both older ones in college. I DID still order one of these and I'm very excited to get it Saturday I hope. I spent WAY more than I ever expected when I started looking for a tablet. TWICE as much. You asked about the S5e. There isn't an S5. While it's probably great for media consumption it might not excite you like the S6. When comparing prices with the S5e, keep in mind it doesn't have a pen.

I ordered both on Sept. 5 and the keyboard hasn't even shipped yet! 🤦🏾♂️ Tablet comes next Wednesday. But I got 15% off with a student discount and the 50% off keyboard which in total saved me $200, so I guess it's worth it

In my opinion it's not worth the upgrade from the tab s4 and also not worth the price increase. The tab S4 has dex, works fine and has got a headphone jack.

@Thong Thong I've never seen my tab S4 go slow or seem slow, don't give much importance to gestures on the s pen, I use wireless headphones but I always have a pair of cord headphones in the sleave where I carry the tab, and my girlfriend always uses cord headphones , I love the new design but it's not worth (for me at least) 300 € difference in price.

It has four separate speakers. Yeah, when you activate Dolby atmos the sound is amazing. And yes, it's stereo.

I am using my Note 10+ gladly, but with the iPadOS, its fluidity, effectiveness, power, and features, why would one even need an Android tablet? Maybe the price is a factor but that aside, you won't get anything else from an Android tablet.

I was on the same boat until I got the One Plus 7 pro. That dongle really isn't a big deal. I just leave it attached to my 3mm jack. You don't notice it. They even sell one that will let you charge at the same time for $7. Don't be like me and knock it before you try it.

Most people dont use headphones and a lot of people have moved on to bluetooth If you have corded headphones just keep the dongle attached. Youre living in the past if you want to use corded headphones

It amazes me that the tab isnt comparable with Samsung's fitness app....Samsung health...ridiculous.. I use my tab in gym..

The fact that this doesn't have a headphone jack lets me know that the whole, there isn't space in this phone for a headphone is complete bs. What's their excuse here? A tablet would be something I would be more likely to use headphones with. Just Samsung wanting to save themselves money on the headphone jack. Another Samsung product I thought about buying but now I won't.

umm...one note for this "mobile version" sucks. As a student, this is a nightmare where you don't have a desktop like experience with this app. Good God, I can't imagine anyone using this for school. Maybe just media consumption but that's what the Tab s5E can get you!

One thing that annoys me is that Samsung haven't put their branding on the S-Pen for the Note10 phones and as much as some people may hate this, the pen actually looks like some generic accessory. I wouldn't mind seeing the name printed on the pen like they did with the new S-Pen for the Tab S6

Hello to everybody! I have something weird on my Tab S4 to make me think of selling it. Since i install the android 9, my Tab S4 doesn't play my games in they full resolution, but in 720p or worst. I have installed Game Tuner before on android 8, but now on andrid 9 it is dissapeared. I try diferent way to make it work again but isn't possible, it's something about Game Optimizing Service. It's so disappointing to have a flagship tablet and not to be able to play games on full hd or they full resolution. I have the oldest Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and there i can play my games in full resolution. If you are an gamer, just dont buy Samsung, buy an Ipad.
