I bought a soundboks Go for my Christmas present to myself last year. It goes everywhere with me. It the rain and snow up hills and in the summer it came to the beach. They are incredible. Highly recommended 😁

Don't run the speaker volume over half volume if they are plugged into the charger and charging the battery as it damages the battery, the charger supplied also will not power the speaker at full volume, Thanks

@@imusiccollection You need a 12.8v-14.6v 10a supply minimum, I wouldn't risk running it from a 12v supply, as the speaker pulls the voltage down during use and it might drag it down to far and damage something. I use a modified 13.8v 40a Mercury Bench Top Power Supply to run two Gen 3's, this can power them without breaking a sweat and has been doing for over a year now. I have been trying to find a power brick that can do the same job, there is one that seems perfect but I am struggling to find someone who sells it. There are also options available to power it from a vehicle power socket if required. Thanks

I don’t think any charger will I ruined my battery doing the is before so have multiple batteries and just swap if need be

@@rikaus9273 Taken from the Soundboks website, "ABOUT THE CHARGER: If you’re only using your charger to power the SOUNDBOKS, it may shut down at higher volume (normally between level 6 and 11). If you are plugging your charger to the SOUNDBOKS without a battery in it, the amount of power available to the SOUNDBOKS is going to be lower as the charger will only provide energy up to a certain volume. The SOUNDBOKS was built for maximum performance while running on the battery only. The charger is NOT a power supply, but it is a battery charger." Even the manufacturer states that the charger should not be used as a power supply. I built my own power supply capable of running two SB Gen 3's at full volume without the batteries connected, Thanks

Soundboks 3 have no bass at all almost. Soundboks 4 should have more but still sounds like shit. JBL still the winner

Soundboks has midrange as well as bass, JBL just has bass and tinny treble

@@peakz1099you're full of shit, the soundboks has bass, just not the super deep bass that people want, its a portable Bluetooth speaker, it can't work miracles, the soundboks 4 has a little more bass, kinda similar to the soundboks 2, and has a fuller sound, its really not worth upgrading your gen 3s if you already have them

Theyre equally loud but the sb4 lost a lot a bass in exchange for mids and highs, so yeah it sucks

Yes but you wont be able to hear the music over the loudness of the soundboks 3, the sb4, even less since the mids and highs are even clearer

batterypowered vs wired speakers... Obviously a wired speaker will be able to take advantage of higher watts. Soundboks is amazing because its durable as hell with amazing battery life for its sound. Im in college and if I had a JBL i wouldn't let it nowhere near my dorm. The speaker would undoubtably be damaged, be it from beer, dents, or whatever, nor would it be particularly fun carrying that clunky speaker around whenever I went to different parties that was in need of a speaker (which happens regularly). The soundboks however? It's extremely durable, and I have no problem bringing it with me to the college parties. I am 100% comfortable just letting it play while in the center of the room, a luxury pretty much no other speaker can have. This is also not to mention we often bring it outside as well, for whenever we have outdoor parties.

SB with the rucksack carrier is so easy to move about with too. A pair of them sounds so so loud, almost like going to a club but in your back yard or on the beach

@@peakz1099 I assumed he was talking about the 710 or greater models. Because those admittedly sound better bass wise, as they focus more on treble which works great with the smiley face eq. If you're seriously comparing the Jbl 310's, 110s or 100s to Soundboks I'll just stop you right there, because those are simply a worse option than the Soundboks if price is not a topic of discussion.

I've never heard of a distortion free speaker. I think you don't know what you are talking about. Any speaker will distort if you drive the speaker into the red, like what are you talking about? More to the point, ALL speakers can be driven distortion free if you properly trim your output. Please explain! You sound like a salesman that doesn't know what he is selling. To be clear, you are saying these are distortion free speakers like I've NEVER heard of such a thing, the law of physics would like to have a word with you. SMH

Distortion free has become a catch phrase for low distortion. I don't like it either, but here we are.
