I would love to see a "string this way for little dude's" aka i am an inexperienced lax dad who likes to geek out over stringing now. Or a review comparison of the new Epoch ID and the stringking complete JR for the bobbleheads

For little, little guys (like 2nd and 3rd graders) I've always strung their sticks with as little whip as possible (like 2 on a scale of 1-10) while still giving them a moderate channel and pocket depth. When my kids were still in this age range I also cut about 6-8 inches off of the handle so that the stick doesn't get in the way of learning how to throw/shoot properly. They're just not tall enough and their arms aren't long enough to keep the stick from making contact with their bodies. That's why you see so many kids that pull the stick down and across their bodies leading to horribly inaccurate passes.

@@TheBayhylleChannel thanks i have a 6yr old he played 8U on a small team last year at 5 and he doesn't want to cut his shaft he wants a long poll but loves my 20 + old shaft that is 1" longer then hisbut he is cool with me re stringing his stick. I did a low pocket and a wide channel but it has more whip then i like and most of his passes are in the dirt. I did get one line drive out of him last weekend. I think i might take another shooter out and maybe use some Si's instead of knots down low.

I'm hoping to get around to one in the new year; one of my biggest projects was a "universal" stringing, I just haven't had the time to explain it in a video.

Best complete sticks for ages 17+ in your opinion?

Would have to go with the Epoch Dragonfly Air II Complete. A ton of bang for your buck at $190. Even their ID Vision complete is a solid option.

feel like ecd dropped the ball on the throat...instantly gives it away that it's a beginner head. sk at least replicated legend series on all variations

Isaac Wright fair point! And I agree on the aesthetic, the only counterpoint being the Bravo is definitely stronger than the Mark 1 and Legend Int

ECD Optik 1.5

For what it's worth, while the sidewall struts and bottom rail curvature are very similar, the face shape and lie are verrrry different. Plays with a ton more whip than an Optik.
