@@StayConnectedEV I don't speak for US customers, that I know. It's a lot easier to buy it from there and you can sue him if he denies the right of buying his product. But I tried buying this guy's bike. I'm a foreigner. I tried everything on my end just for him to say it was too much trouble for him, despite me having an enormous trouble going after a cargo agent and understanding how to import, all the taxes, which are absurd in my country (Brazil. The price of the bike+shipping would be like 3 times the price of the bike, due to the taxes), but I didn't give up. All that just for him to say he wasn't in the mood. I have the proof of what I'm saying. I still don't know why he shut me down

Hi DAVE, I just wanted to comment on your video that you did on the five star as it appeared that your comments were shut off at 50 wouldn’t allow me to comment. I just wanted you to know one of the things I noticed was they now are offering a torque sensor on that bike which to me is a game changer on that bike, as I am not looking for overall speed I’m looking for consistent speed is definitely in my future. I’ve been spending so much money on my channel that I have to slow down, but I’m definitely going to buy it soon. I probably already said this but great review

Dave - Enjoyed your review of the Super Monarch, seemed pretty thorough. I can attest to the attention the E-cells provide. I had some questions about the Five Star that could not be answered by the staff at that moment, and Dave (owner) called me within a few hours and answered all my questions. He is certainly an enthusiastic, driven owner who genuinely seems to care about his customers, and his company. I know this is a review for the Super Monarch, so I want to apologize for the following remarks. Since I just placed my order for a Five Star a week ago, using your code btw, I could not help myself not to notice some similarities & differences. Shock and fork aside, the 17" frames look identical, even the blue color, which I chose also. I really like the panniers, do you know if they will fit the Five Star or even be available? The drilled double wall rims appear to be the same minus the gold anodization. The potted controller, and the display are a few things the Five Star has one upped the Super Monarch. As Columbo would put it, One More Thing. Alex at Maximum Charge latest video on the Five Star mentioned the bike would be delivered with a small toolkit, helmet, mirrors, bag for the front rack, and cargo net. Is this your understanding, too? Thanks

Richard, thank you so much for your kind words! I cannot speak in behalf of the Five Star since he is still tweaking the body. I know the bags have been measured precisely to fit the Super Monarch so until i get my hands on a Five star It might be hard. But I promise you when i speak with him I will ask. On the second question, I am not aware those will all ship with it but I do believe as we get closer to April the specifics I know they will release that information. I now see the difference of the E-Cells compared to the Wired Freedom. The E-Cells does give so much more and that center shock area bracket is MUCH more solid than the Wired Freedom. This review was nuts man the detail you went through was great. Totally enjoyed this.

Hi Dave On the E-Cells web sight there is no frame option for this bike. But, can you tell me is your bike the 17" frame or the 19" ? Which happens to be an option for the five star. Thanks

500W BACK AND 500W only this versus Philodo Jumbo or Wallke H9 is really weak but I understand since this has been out for 5 years it needs a revision and a price revision too

Sorry you don’t understand how dual motors and dual batteries work. The controller on this bike hands down is the top quality controller you can put on a. E-bike. The total power is over 1500wh combined in AWD.

Agreed. These specs may have been impressive 5 years ago but not now, not at that price. If 5 star is worth $1895 (after discount code) this may find informed buyers at $1500.

1 I don't want the bags I have a dual motor now two 750 watt 1100 peak motors 100 nm each with Switch on Handel bars also and Fabulous e bikes locking grips derailer guard 60 volt 20amp hr battery. I have a good air pump and tool kit already. My rip current s has a 1000 watt motor 52 volt 19.2 amp hr if I'm buying a new the cyrusher Trax. Does it have a torque sensor because that's a must

The motors peak a total of 1504 Watt-Hour.. 48V17.5AH Front Battery + 48V14AH Rear.

You need to always do a hill speed test in reviews, so many bikes are under powered on hills. I don’t like reviews without true speed in each pass and a true hills test. Viewers should not buy without knowing these 2 important points.

@@StayConnectedEV No Class system for e-bikes in Canada. Maximum watts 500, maximum speed (32kph) 20mph. It would have to be sold as … for use on private property only. You may be able to insure and register it as a moped in some provinces and then ride on the street.

I'm from England and i have sent Email after Email over the last few months asking about shipping to the UK ,and have Never had any reply ! So i find this very much a bad customer Service which is such a shame because their bikes do look Great ! I have Emailed many E-Bike Companies in the USA and everyone has replied back ! I'm not out to run E-Cells down as a Company ,i just wanted to share my honest views on what happened to me in another country .

Yes i understand and fully agree with this , but surely a reply with an response saying sorry but we dont ship to your country due to costs etc would of been the proper way to run a Company ? Also if they don't ship these bikes to the UK then why is that Country on the list of Countries available on their website ?
