I really loved the Fact that the Mangaka made the Manga after hearing this song got the rights feom the Band to use the Name and then even gets to use it for the Ending of his Anime. well Mushoku was there cause the awards were from fall 2021 to summer 2022, like a football season and the Ballon d'or award (for example), i get that it's better to literally do a calendar year (then it would make sense to do the awards on March), but if they decided to do like in football, it is correct that Mushoku is there, and actually should have got many more nominations

If it wasn't for the jokes sake only and you actually didn't know, Crunchyroll deliberately excluded all fall 2022 anime and included fall 2021 anime. It think it was mentioned that it's to reduce the recency bias and they'll probably keep on doing that every year now (Which I think that is a stupid approach but who am I to tell...). So Bocchi, Bleach, Chainsaw Man, Spy x Fam cour2, etc. are all gonna be included next year
