I love the way Tolle has changed my inner view of myself. It is as if he speaks to something common in us, and we are all connected, while he speaks. Anyone else had the same experience?

spiritual truths are simple and tolle keeps it that way and just elaborates it wonderfully. the fact that his teaching is more practical is the best thing about him.

anyways, psychopahts have something called cognetive empathy, or high functioning ones, and a true spiritual awareness is quite different from cognitive understanding, its not possible to convert cognitive understanding to actual awareness, circuitry is missing lmao

She is very superficial always having to give her 2cents quipping after eckhart speaks. Reminds me exactly of how Oprah acts in his presence. The ego of the two tries to keep up with Eckhart’s humility by becoming superficially spiritual.

I had a similar experience to Ekhart about 6 years ago where there was a observer of my actions and thoughts all day and night for about a 2 month period. It was automatic and there was no effort involved. But unlike Ekhart, for me it has gone and now I have to consciously activate it.
@mistex2507 жыл бұрын
how did u feel at that time of observation?
@Am_Brew7 жыл бұрын
It's hard to describe but I guess the best way I can put it is that it felt like there was a lot of space and clarity. I didn't get drawn into my thoughts but could watch them form from nothing then pass. It felt very much like a good meditation session.
@tinfoilhatter7 жыл бұрын
you were possessed ! and then perhaps let go again...if you learnt from it,hooray! most are possessed and ,not knowin' it,can't do anything about it, or even if they knew it,it still might not help but the idea is to be the observer,and see the actor(s) when the observer knows it is not what it is observing,then it surely won't last long,and soon one is identified again,and the observer,abandoned,forgotten, until we remember it again...
@yunusk.326211 жыл бұрын
Anja, it was his beginning. ;-) Yes he has not changed a lot, I agree. When you radiate Love and peace you never get old! :-) I know this by myself :-) Today a young boy and a girl said I am 18! :D But it is not true. :) He wrote A New Earth at that time, not the Power of Now! :-) Love encircles the world! Join it! With Love; Oz

It's kind of interesting to me that Eckhart Tolle came to prominence at such a late age, he didn't get "famous" until after he was 50. Kinda gives me hope that I may make something of myself one day. Not because I need it or I think it will make me happy, but that I feel there is something greater within me that has just not yet found its way out. Maybe I'll revisit this comment in 11 years when I turn 50.

Keep soldiering on mate. I’m 24, and am constantly feeling and worrying I’m wasting my true potential, but my great grandad at 96, used to call my 68 year old step dad young man. That really opened my eyes. Most people these days are still finding themselves well into there late 30s and 40’s. Our time will come. Stay optimistic.
