He is so right. I see this pattern with my parents. More suffering, victims, all went wrong, etc. I can just give them love and forgive them, they don't know better.

I find a good “practice” is to ( as much as possible) see each day new as I awake, not by force but by rest. I may feel aches and pains, physical and emotional,and say they were caused by yesterday. I may be getting old where once I was young and free of care, but my cares were just different then, each day the mind builds anew because this is a new day, so I make my coffee and I run my bath, and every time the mind tries to sum it all up, to decide who and where, to decide what kind of day this is to be, to tarnish this ever present being with a coat of judgment and ware that coat as a dressing gown, I simply release it, let it pass, dissolve, it may stick arond and rear its head again, but this is a new day, born in and of presence.

Best way I see things is how we talk to ourselves…”Why does this always happen to me” and “I am sick of things upsetting me” Read again and notice “ I “ = I am I exist (true being) “ Me “ = Person/ego/ conditioned false identity . I am is where the truth and love reside, the “God mind” “Me” is all identity and suffering of person. You can simply become aware of this and make it your prayer to uncover “I am” and Just be, just exist ✨🙏🏻

All the expressions Eckhart shows here is absolutely true.. the ego does react in resistance to the Present As-is. Once the acceptance comes & the understanding of the present moment is inevitable, the Light flows and ego disappears. Until that happens we tend to hurt ourselves and the loved ones around us. Accept first and then Act if needed.

He THEN goes on to talk about the human as the ego and the being as the spirit, but the fact stands that there is “A” word that applies to both men and women - person. He could have made his points about “human” and “being” without that first part which was obviously wrong. Don’t revere spiritual leaders so much that you think they’re infallible. He has said other things in the past that were erroneous.

Perhaps it's best to watch Season 2 , Episode 23 of Star Trek Voyager titled "The Thaw." It perceived "Fear" as an actual being meant to be conquered. Additionally, the first "Chakra" has to deal with self preservation. (Ref: Avatar: The Last Airbender: Season 2 , Episode 19 titled "The Guru.") The ONLY fear you should have is of God.

That’s correct, technically. But it doesn’t hold the same meaning as mensch And there’s more to its meaning than what Eckhart refers to in this talk. Mensch literally means human being or human, and it implies characteristics that are compatible with the understanding that we are all members of the human family. A mensch is someone who exhibits kindness and gratitude, across-the-board to all they encounter. A mensch lives by the adage, treat others the way you want to be treated. So you see, the word holds both the idea of being a human, and also having qualities that transcend the sense of loneliness, isolation that rise from the ignorance of our common humanity. “Being” human.

I know they lied and persecuted you Lord Jesus they are doing the same to me. Lord help me forgive the ppl that say my testimony isn’t real. They don’t know my burdens only you know Lord. I know it’s just lies from the devil. Because he wants me to lose my faith and Lord it’s working. I’m Losing my faith. Please restore it. As a single mother raising two children with special needs things are challenging on me. I’m overwhelmed but I’m trying to provide the best I can for my sons. Lord Jesus get me through this, give me strength as I struggle to pay bills and while I struggle to buy groceries for my sons.❤️
