Worth noting is that galaxies DO NOT orbit their supermassive black holes like a giant solar system. While their gravitational pull is immense, a supermassive is nowhere close to being enough to hold even a dwarf galaxy together, let alone the Milky Way or the slightly larger SW galaxy.

#AskEck in SWTOR, The Smuggler story, we were introduced to another Supermassive Black Hole. In the Story it is said that this Black Hole is the end of all things, it came from outside the galaxy and it is slowly devouring the Galaxy, it is located in the South-western most corner in the galaxy, bordering the Outer-rim and Wild Space. It is called the Long Shadow. Do u wanna theorycraft that a other supermassive black hole would cause the end of all life in the galaxy. It is the black hole where Pirate Legend Nok Drayen sent his ship filled with his treasures into. Swtor made it sound like that the Long Shadow is this inevitable coming disaster but just forgets about it

Interesting the deep core was not further explored since the ancient Jedi's came from Tython which was located in the Deep Core. Koros Major also known as Empress Teta was also in the deep core and was a very influential world in the galaxy due to being the early supplier of Carbonite used for sleeper ships during early exploration. I would think Koros Major would have explored further into the deep core before Palpatine.

Were there Y wings present during the battle over Corusant I ask since we dont see any during RoS, if not is there an in universe reason for this? 2. Why was the Y wing used as the Alliances primary ground attack craft and atmospheric bomber even if newer ships X-wings and B-wings were available (this question also applies to the GAR as well)? 3. Is there anything the Y-wing could do better than the B-wing, outside of being cheaper and less maintenance heavy, was there any sort of advantage to picking it over the B-wing, assuming the turret is working. 4. If the Y-wings turrets in A New Hope had a gunner or were automated and functional, do you think the Trench Run would have gone differently as they could properly defend themselves from Lord Vader and his wingmen? Guess the best spots to build some secret fleets and the likes would be planets outside a solar system. They would be super hard to find , as they were not orbiting a star, so if only you knew its position, you could have secret holdouts there, massive automated ship and equiment building facilities that could resupply you, with your enemy not knowing for certain where you got your stuff from. Like, maybe you find a giant gas planet with a large number of moons lightyears away from the next solar system. You'd just mine the moons for its metalls to build ships and weapons and the gas giant for its gasses as fuel and atmospheric gases for crews.

I like the idea of a massive quasar being in the center. It is a black hole sure but it does have a lot of unknown potential. Kind of like a super interstellar entity that is able to shoot out close to the same amount of mass it takes in. #AskEck I have three questions regarding The Force Ability to strip someone of their connection to The Force (As shown with Nomi Sunrider doing it to Ulic Qel-Droma in Legends): Could such an ability be used in reverse, like giving someone back their connection to The Force? And then, I have one that somewhat relates to the last one: Could someone who wasn't born Force-Sensitive be made Force-Sensitive sometime in their life using that ability to restore Force Connections? Like, if Luke, or Leia made Han Solo Force-Sensitive, when he wasn't beforehand? Can you imagine how Jedi/Sith Recruitment would work if people could just be made Force-Sensitive who weren't originally born strong in The Force? Or, could people who wanted to be Jedi, or Sith, but can't because they're not Force-Sensitive go to someplace like The Valley of The Jedi on Ruusan to become Force-Sensitive if that were an option?

#askeck This one's gonna be a little different, you ever played the space sim Elite:Dangerous? It has a 1:1 Milky Way galaxy to travel across, and it abides by real life physics. So for example, space flight isn't a ww2-esque dogfight but rather it uses inertia & thrust vectoring and whatnot. The game might be long in the tooth these days at almost 10yrs old and suffering a decline, but it's absolutely worth giving a chance for someone like yourself. I brought it up because this video made me recall an expedition I took once to our galactic core. It took ages to get there, and it needs serious prep work to do it safely, but it was pretty crazy. The density of the systems in there is ridiculous, you're practically tripping over them. Let's say the density for average space towards the galactic edges is akin to looking at the sky in a suburban area with some light pollution but not much. The density in the core was like being in the middle of northern Canada's wilderness with no light pollution whatsoever. And travelling to a nebula looks amazing, like the crab nebula or the horsehead nebula to name a few. There's a lot more that could be said, but I'd be writing a whole book. It's a really cool game if you're into the genre. I haven't touched it in about 4-5 years but I was thinking about reinstalling it again. As a bonus fact, the model of our galaxy is so on point that several systems were discovered IRL which were nearly identical to how the ai model composed them years prior to their discovery.

Ya know, what if the Super-Massive Black Hole at the Center of the Galaxy just so happens to be another entrance to a space between the force? Kinda like what Mortis was, an ethereal place where the Force was extremely potent, essentially a Force Nexus, one outside of the mortal plane/realm. Except in this case, it's clearly still within reach (theoretically, that is) and not outside of regular space like Mortis was. Imagine if there are "sleeping" Celestials in there, like in a comatose/stasis-like state, perhaps a few that like, took the response to keep the Core stabilized, and therefore the galaxy, meaning that mayhaps they've allowed the Star Wars Galaxy to be less volatile than most other Galaxies maybe? I dunno, just food for thought to make it even cooler. These Celestials would just be in their OG "spiritual" forms, unlike the Mortis Gods and Bendu who evidently decided to remain physical and active in the Galaxy. (Well, not the Bendu, he just kinda wanted to sleep and do his own thing but... yeah whatever, you guys get my point) 😅

I'd imagine that this may have lead to some additional sting to Vader's resentment of Kenobi after Padme's death, maybe even torturing Anakin before his fall as he might have debated talking to Obi-Wan as "he might understand", especially as Kenobi even confided with Skywalker at one point regarding Satine and then throw in Kenobi's return to Mandalore for his failed rescue attempt of her. #AskEck

Hey Eck! I was wondering if you had any idea just how badly the Clone Wars and Galactic Civil War devastated the Galaxy (Legends or Cannon, take your pick). I've wondered this since reading the (excellent) novel _Dark Forces Rising,_ when the protagonists had a minor freak out upon learning that Thrawn had found reliable cloning tech, since the Empire had almost depleted the manpower within its territory and this would allow a new round of conflict. The implication that every able bodied man across multiple worlds had died in war was a pretty horrifying thought by itself, as well as a disturbing indication as to just how massive and devastating the war had been. I know that this isn't the most flashy or epic facet of war to focus on, but I've always wondered how a Galaxy that's constantly seeing epic wars can withstand the constant devastation. Is galactic civilization close to falling apart from the strain, or is it capable of churning out even grander conflicts?
