Fantastic job on this series. Thank you Missouri State and Dr. Mitchell for making these free to the public!

i'm rewatching these lectures after 5 years. And i believe that Dr. Mitchell explained everything so well throughout the series, that it stuck with me. Especially the concept of Opportunity cost, which, just like he suggests, can be used in all aspects of life. And i've benefitted greatly just by prioritising things. Thank you very much, Professor!!

The concept of opportunity costs makes it clear the depiction of economy as a science of decision. Great. Hope this makes me a better decision maker.

Did those students really say they will need 10% more effort to go from 90% to 100%? Unbelievable.

I had a question if my marginal cost of collecting information = marginal benefits why should I be incurring the cost? As I will reap same benefit ..So Instead of saving 5 dollars that I will eventually incur on marginal cost of gathering information, I can instead not waste my time effort and money ,by paying 5 dollars extra
@atulsingh75395 ай бұрын
How do you measure the marginal benefits of collecting the information? In this example. Isn't it not possible.

Could you please tell me, why is entrepreneurship limited (as a resource)?
@ChristianClarkArchery2 жыл бұрын
does everyone want to be an entrepreneur? To my knowledge, no. Therefore they are limited in numbers.
@raginimishra70132 жыл бұрын
Entrepreneur is a mindset, everyone doesn't have this. Whole population do not to be an entrepreneur
@joaoaidar Жыл бұрын
If you think about it, even if there were infinite people, there is still a limit because of the resources. Even if everyone was an entrepreneur, there wouldn't be enough resources to supply them
