I remember the good old days when Black Friday was only on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Where people would stuff themselves full of bird, take a nice long nap, get up at 1am on Friday, go wait in sub freezing temperatures and when doors opened at 5am. would trample their fellow man to save 80% on a big screen TV. Ohhh....The memories. On second thought, maybe it's better this way, lying in my bed, in my boxers, and using my smart phone to snap up all the deals. Those are great prices. I own the Delta 1300 1st Gen but really like the Max 2nd Gen. Now it depends a lot on how you plan to use your SolGen, but I really like the form factor of the Mastek you introduced. I think they work better in a Van/Camper environment.

HOBOTECH, I have just one question. Of all the portable power stations/ solar generators you have reviewed and if you were totally unbiased in your decision making ( meaning not getting any money from of the companies you do reviews for) which brand of portable power station/solar generator would you seriously recommend for camping, RVing , off grid living? I’m not interested in watt hours necessarily because that’s an individual’s choice of how much power they need . I want to know which brand out of all the portable power stations/ solar generators would recommend if you could be totally unbiased in your decision .

I just dipped a toe into the EcoFlow ecosystem. Curious about loading up eventually with the Delta 2 Max, couple expansion batteries, and generator and solar options. But for now grabbed the River 2 with free 60W solar panel and your discount code - all for only $159! Was looking at a 400W Ego inverter (I have their yard equipment batteries already) but that alone is $150 so this was a no-brainer. Thanks HoboTech!

I have Delta Pro's already, and they're good. Now I'd like rigid solar panels to keep them charged through an extended outage. But I'll wait for a decent sale on those.

The BougeRV 200 watt panels for around $180 are a pretty good deal. I have 3 in a series array. I've seen up to 585 watts out of them. That was perfect conditions though. They usually stay around 530 on most sunny days. Even at only 530 watts, that's still a little over 88% of their rated output.

Hey I have an Eco Flo delta pro with two extra batteries and I’ve only had it maybe two months it’s working great and my question is should I run the batteries down to 10% or 5% and then charge them fully above 95% or should I have my solar panels try to keep up every day

Anything you might recommend that is similar to a smaller solar station under $100? Doesn't need AC. I liked my little GoLabs back a couple years ago, but I plugged in a high voltage power supply and fried the board. So if I can get something small that could fit in a JNCO pocket, it would be handy.

Very interesting video. I see the 30amp plug so Professor Hobo my big question to you is. I have a nuCamp t@b 400 (tear drop) and recently installed a soft start on the t@b’s a/c unit. Would the EcoFlow Pro power the a/c and best guess for how long of a duration?

Dear Professor, been watching your Channel for years, don’t recall if You’ve done a vid in how to get started with a “solar generator“ for homeowners on a budget wanting to start with something on The inexpensive but not cheap side that has standard solar charging inputs that could be scaled up to something that can potentially off grid run a small home… I’m in FL, plenty of sun. Want to start small & keep building onto system with more batteries, more solar panels etc. I’m a musician, the only metaphor I can think of is like “daisychaining amplifiers together to get more power / More volume; I’m thinking I’d have to find units that could be added onto /plugged together for more output… Perhaps like a tesla wall works. Me thinks U just answered my question in this vid with the forthcoming delta pro ultra but that’s above my budget is there anything else on market that can be rigged together to work like that? My first primary use is emergency use during hurricane power outages, but wanna scale up from there. Thanks Professor

Don't know what you consider "inexpensive" but anything that can run a single circuit in your home isn't going to be less than $2500 to start. In this video that would be the Delta Pro. From Bluetti that would be the AC300 or AC500.

Was hoping the Delta 2 expansion battery would be $499, but instead it’s $599 (when you can get a whole Delta 2 for only $638. I guess they aren’t trying to move the expansion battery.

@johnliberty3647 The Jackery 2000 requires 6 solar panels and I don't have room for that in my car. I have 200 watts of solar on my roof but not sure I can even use this or if I'd have to buy an adapter. I need to call Jackery

This is going to limit how many devices can be plugged in as a lot of power cords are 3 prong male. Lastly, there isn't any built-in lamp..??. Not sure why EcoFlow missed these two rather typical features. Your UK version AC outlets are of a different configuration.
