This is a good video, but the Sachs original strut is the way to go..unless the Bilsteins were under $100 each... Ive seen their priced about the same, so the Sachs would save a few steps....

Hi, very nice video, thank you ! It will help me a lot ! I will change my front shocks by OEM cause I want to keep EDC working. The procedure provided by ISTA-D invite to code the EDC with ISTA-P to take the new shocks into account after installation (otherwise there is an error). I have ISTA-P but no ICOM to do it. Do you know if we can do it with INPA or WINKFP (as ISTA-P is just a graphical interface for shops to make it easy)? Thanks for your help.

Hİ GOOD WORK. ı have 2002 745i with dynımıc drive and edc . wich one ı can use pls can yoou tell me ?

Hi! I replaced the shock absorbers in the front, but the height of the front axle is 74 cm instead of 65.3 cm for me (2002 745i, EDC, 18 inch rims) What could be wrong?

if you compare the old vs new shocks were they the same size? The seat for the spring must not be flipped the other way around.

@@ecologicaltime Hello. There's the problem: I didn't measure well... but I don't think the shock absorbers are good. Even on a smooth road, the steering wheel shakes left and right. All swingarms and springs are new. Steering gear also replaced. Also servo oil. However, it does not shake when braking. Wheels also centered, with new continental tires, chassis adjusted.
