Using a rubber mallet instead of a regular hammer won't ruin the awning sides, also putting a towel, blanket or even cardboard (like the box it came in) down on the ground won't put holes on the aluminum tape and will protect the awning.

Setscrew is something i got provided to install awning onto the wall. Do you have any suggestion how i could get it into the wall nicely?

if your wall is made from brick i would use the method i showed in the video with nylon plugs.
