It is not if you think it is then you just don't understand the idea of comparison in economics no country since the recession has grown at a double pace due to liquidity crisis and housing sector and a lot of other core issues and it's highly unlikely for any economy to as big as India or chine to grow at 8 or 9% especially at this moment when a lot of bad stuff like corona the global warming buzz due to fires affects the automobile market and yada yada is goin on we weren't over the trade war and Iranian tensions yet and a bunch of other shit hit us we had a bubble in real estate due to bad loans and a horrible banking period cause of bad loans during UPA-2 you just need to understand instead of running around on internet trying to blame parties.

Who said people don't work there? There are about 50% vacancy in BSNL. Recruitment doesn't happen and people don't get proper service. And customer goes to corporate companies. And now who gets benefit out of this? No prize for guessing answer. Corporate.

Only then about 92000 people resigned. Those people were not required in the first place. They were drawing fat salaries, but were not producing innovative results/ products. Airtel, jio, Voda all have 15k-20k employees, where as even after the mass resignations, BSNL has about 72K employees. How is it that Voda, Idea and Jio are able to operate much better in the market with 1/6th the workforce? Voda, Idea and Jio don't even have the government to bail them out if their business strategy fails! How are Voda,Airtel and Jio providing better services with far less employees? And why is BSNL not able to do the same with a workforce 6 times larger?

The Soviet Union used to give loans for everything India needed so that India did not need any foreign exchange at that time because these Soviet loans were interest free, payable over 50 years by exports from India. that facility had gone after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Monket Singh Aluwala came from the IMF after India stupidly took loans of $2.5 million from the IMF and private sector companies too over all public sector assets and sold these and took all the money to foreign banks.
