Examiner: Why do we use index numbers? Me: To make ugly numbers less ugly Examiner: ......... Hahahahahahaha, something along the lines of 'making the numbers easier to interpret' would be a good answer in my opinion

This is an amazing explanation. I think I will start avoiding math courses taught by female educators because I know math concepts are not that complicated but they always complicate it for me. Wish you could teach statistics, because my current professor and I are not connecting.
