I really appreciate this analysis. I fell in love with Ecuador last year when I spent 3 months there. I would not have returned to the states if I hadn't had to take care of some medical issues. As a new subscriber there is something I have not seen addressed on other channels which I would love to see. Myself, and I hope others, are interested in being some kind of help in the communities we live in. I heard you say the proceeds of your channel go to charities. I would love to find meaningful volunteer opportunities in Ecuador. I have zero interest in sitting on a beach watching my body grow liver spots. ZERO. I would love to see all of us on the watch for these opportunities and reporting on them as well as simply talking about how CHEAP a place is. I am so fed up with the word CHEAP! If this offends anyone of your subscribers, I don't care.

Thanks very much for the update and not least, the statistics!! This is, as you also mention, very important to have and, be able to show sceptics, who often are convincent this war, is the average Ecuadorian being violent and criminal..."thanks" to our mainstream media...hrmpf.... I know - because I am following your honest news - the majority of the wonderful people from and in Ecuador, doesn't have anything to do with this insanity and, I see a positive end to this for everyone...including the absolutely not 'clean' customers to all these millions of kilo cocain and their millions of (stolen)* Euro and $.. This is so more than sad, as we all know who the very doubtful (to say the least) customers are for these 'goods'... Only a few days ago I saw a mainstream media from my former "simply so happy" place...drug gangsters arrested with a LOT of cocain - again and, only a few years ago, same type of white powder was found in the corridors of their government 😰 more than indicating, these deals are channeled from the so-called "top"... A * mark next to the word 'stolen' as I likewise know "administers" in same place were recently caught, using (abusing) innocent people's personal identities (social security numbers)....explains where a LOT of our personal belongings in this place is going 😰 I only wish this was real news to me...unfortunately it is far from new and, there will be a massive clean-up (and out) in the old colonial (and their friends) when this is over!! Ecuador is doing right...please tell them all from me Mike and, thanks again so much for all your work..younateca true 🌟 I see a light at the end of the tunnel, thanks to the wonderful people you live among and, I see us all out, having fun with Mr. Humpback 🤗 Have a good start of the next week!! Just a little extra note regarding this whale...I think he is following me....first he was in the Azores last March when I was there...a month later he was seen outside Tory island just north of Ireland and during my holiday in beautiful Cape Verde just a couple of weeks ago, he was there as well 🤗 Maybe he is my new angel.- who knows...I expect him to await my arrival in Ecuador...
