Ecuador is the smallest of the Andes’ states in South America and a land that derived its name from the Equator. A natural paradise with a living Indian culture and captivating colonial towns that was once part of the Inca Realm and later the sought-after possession of various European colonial powers. Quito, the "divine city", is the capital of Ecuador. Steep and narrow steps lead downhill to the Centro Historico in which many of its small buildings have been rebuilt several times due to devastating earthquakes. In 1536, Quito was newly founded and built on the ruins of an Inca town. West of Quito the edge of the extinct Pululahua Volcano is accessible by car. It is the largest volcanic crater in South America and the huge caldera with its steep slopes has a diameter of four to five kilometres and is hundreds of metres deep. One and a half hours from Quito are the Termas De Papallacta, the most beautiful spa baths in Ecuador. Hot springs were discovered here and an infrastructure built to make them accessible to tourism, an idyllic spot set in remote nature and at an altitude of around four thousand metres above sea level. The southern sierra of Ecuador is a green and fertile landscape. The Andes is flatter here and the peaks of the volcanoes are free from snow. This is the most important monument of Incan culture in Ecuador, the ruins of Ingapirca, a location with a long and dramatic past. Around a thousand kilometres from Ecuador, within the Pacific Ocean, is a scattered group of nineteen volcanic islands, the Galápagos Islands and even below the water there are creatures that seem to come from another world. Ecuador is truly fascinating due to its vast variety of culture and nature and its amazing mountain landscapes are the backbone of the country. Ecuador is a unique adventure where South America is at its most beautiful!

Berliner Stadtschloss, there are so many, In the Andes, Quito of course there is Cuenca, Otavalo it has a large market on Saturday I think not sure it's been a while, Ambato, Riobamba, many many and if you go to Ecuador all you have to do is ask and they will tell you. The coast there is Guayaquil, Montañita, Galapagos, Esmeralda to the North on the coast. Also go to Facebook and join Ecuador Expat and ask away.

the video show onlly a part of Ecuador in a past time. it lacks the jungle, the nice beaches and a lot of wunderfull places and trips. Ecuador has developed a lot in recent years, try it with others videos to know the real Ecuador.

Maritza: I watched ECUADOR DESDE EL AIRE and it was beautiful! I wish my Spanish were better but the narration was very well done. Great drone perspectives! What parts of Ecuador "do not exist" in the video above? I liked his route and am considering a similar way. I will not be going to the coast.

VJ moon No, para nada, este video es antiguo o las imágenes al menos 10 años atrás...En lo personal no me gusta para nada este video promocionando Ecuador. Tenemos muchas culturas (mestizos, blancos, nativos, afro-descendientes) pero siempre ponen imágenes de entrada... de plazas en pueblos bien alejados con gente pobre (que lo tiene hasta en EEUU, el pueblo Navajo por ejemplo). El Ecuador posee muchísimos otros lugares que no se evidencia en este video, éstos videos de 'TRAVEL VIDEO GUIDE' muestra a los países latinos como gente ignorante y pobre. Pero la realidad es que Latinoamérica posee gente linda, educada, con tradiciones y lo mejor con Lugares IMPRESIONANTES...ya me gustaría hacer un video sobre USA pero sólo mostrando al pueblo Navajo u otros que si los tienen ocultos. Toda Latinoamérica es hermosa. I was very disappointed with this video. I used to live here. The pronunciation of many words are way off, and some of the prettiest attractions are left out, there is way more beauty in Ecuador and also there are more modern parts of Ecuador left out. I think an update is required.

Unbelievable that they could not find a narrator with even minimal ability to pronounce Spanish words. Even a minute of quick prepping could have avoided an hour of horrifying errors (e.g. "LL", "H").

Good video but please... how the narrator butchers the names of people and places is amazing. You should learn how to pronouce the words that you are going to read. How hard is it??? Simon Boulevard, Jose de san matah, Cuencha, Chimboratzo, Parque Nacional Callas, lol
